That interval seems exceedingly short. I drive 90% highway and change my oil when MM says its at 10%. I regularly get between 15,000km and 17,500km per oil change.
According to my dealership there are not codes stored and they have never seen this happen so they can't help me. I'm going to bring it in to them next time it happens so they can read the computer while the error is present.
I emailed the salesman whom I bought the car from with no response...
My last oil change had the 0 1 9 indicated. I paid to have the brake service completed even though the car only had about 34,000 KMs. It's good to take the brakes apart and lube up the pins. Most people don't do it at all and just accept they will have to do corrective maintenance whenever the...
With my car, I have had two oil changes so far, both at ~17,300 kms. My cars mileage is 85%+ highway kilometres.
I would say that 70% at 7000 kms is pretty good.
I am having the same problem. The dealer gave me this BS answer about how the car shuts those systems off to make the driver operate the car. He said something about feedback pulses. It made zero sense. I have had my car decelerate from highway speed to stopped a great number of times without a...
I have the sedan, so just make sure that a 15" rim can fit the hatch. So far so good with these rims and tires on my car.
No luck yet on center caps. You can buy full hub caps for 15" rims at Wal-mart and other places. I specifically want the centre hub cap style.
The guy seemed pretty knowledgeable. He even explained why the lug nuts wouldn't work. I was expecting a $70 bill but he said they might be $22-25. I was pretty happy when they came up as $14.01 with tax in.
They work just fine for me so I say go for it!
Costco in Orillia. I bought them when they were installing the rims and tires. I dont know if it's just a loss leader or consumable part since I couldn't find them on the website. And yes, that price was for twenty.
That's what the guy at Costco said.
You're right. The fitment guide doesn't indicate that the OEM won't work. Honestly, it looked like the Honda lug nuts would work just fine to me. I just took his word on it and got the tapered lug nuts. They were $14.01 CDN taxes in so it wasn't a big hit in the pocket. This works out because...
That guy is an idiot. You should be using the correct hubcentric rims. I put the X40922 from Costco on my car and bought 205/65-R15 Michilin X-ICE IX3 from them as well. I had to buy lug nuts since Honda uses a ball lug nut and these aftermarket rims use a tapered lug nut. The lug nuts were...
I shopped around and that's the best advice I can give you.
I ended up using Costco's brokerage firm and got my 2017 Civic EXT insured for $115 CDN monthly. I have $2 million liability and medical, accident and ticket forgiveness, car rental in case of accident, etc. It's full coverage and...
The easy way to tell is that JIS screws have a small dot on them and phillips don't. You wouldn't likely know that without ever stripping one and posting online about it. :p
Don't feel stupid. Happens to everyone. Just order the screws from the dealer and use your fancy new screwdrivers to...
That will do it. They have very different shapes even though they look very similar. I bought a set when I owned a Honda Motorcycle but I ended up changing all the carburetor screws to allen key bolts on the motorcycle because someone had already stripped half them out.
Minimum liability in Ontario is 1 million dollars. I carry 2 million for extra coverage. I can't believe some of the minimum amounts allowed in the USA. Set fine no insurance in Ontario is $5000 or more.

I think OPs question was answered so I am going to make a small comment about parking brakes. They aren't just for manual transmissions. I have the CVT, and I use the parking brake everytime I park. Why? It takes the stress off the transmission and puts it on the brakes. This is especially...
