I can see that. The bottom seat cushion in the RS is very tall with a lot of rake so it takes some playing around to find a good position. I'm only 5'10" and I had read and watched the reviews about the seating position and I didn't find it that big of a deal once I actually drove it.
Already bought something else, and I'm personally not about to jump through multiple hoops and deal with trying to buy and ship a car multiple states away--been there done that.
Best of luck to those still looking for MSRP. I've tapped out and bought something else instead since I got tired of dealing with BS Honda dealers. At the end of the day it's just a car, and a buyer shouldn't have to put up with this sort of crap from dealers for a mass produced vehicle. Just...
When did I say i was lying about finding a type R at MSRP, or did you make that up to troll? I've actually posted about finding a black and white one but i wanted blue.
If it's not been posted already, stay away from Coggins Honda of Orlando.
10k ADM and can be "negotiated " down to 5k LOL. I actually spoke to someone who claimed to be the new cars manager, who proceeded to mockingly laugh when I said I was looking for a car at MSRP since they have a blue...
Agree completely. The one I got quoted for $50k is a '18 too. I've seen a couple of dealers near me advertise below MSRP on their site to only jack up the price once I ask about it. It doesn't dawn on them that if you're having to resort to a bait-and-switch tactics to attract buyers, then...
This was for a dealer in Gainesville, Florida since I now live in Florida. I actually got offered msrp out here after the dealer wanted about 4k over msrp for a white one but passed since I really want blue. I started laughing when I got the quote of $50k. I emailed them back and they were...
I hope that's using a covered car carrier with drop off right at the customer's door, because I've shipped out cars on open carriers terminal-to-terminal halfway across the US for less than $400.
Just got quoted $49,995 for a 2018, LMFAO. These dealers need to get off their cloud about markup and act like they're doing you a favor by "only" charging 2-5k of markup. I've seen some ads on Cars.com that have the car priced at $34k, but it's a bait-and-switch tactic.
Interesting, since I put in a request via Trucar and no one from that dealership reached out to me even though I'm 20 mins from them. I had dealers from Orlando and Daytona Beach call or email, but nothing from them. Just another example of piss poor business practices in the area.
Omfg, now someone has to buy 19 cars to be "worthy of no more than MSRP?! What a total joke. It's a CIVIC and it's HONDA; we're not talking about a Bugatti Veyron. I think some people are starting to come down with Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to markup and dealer behaviors.
I'd halfway be expecting Toyota to still put a cassette/cd player combo in their cars like they did in the early 2000s when no one used tapes anymore LOL
It's pathetic that a manual in a Corolla is getting this much hype in the car press circles. My '01 had a manual with an independent rear suspension but it was no corner carver and was saddled with an anemic engine--I see this new one being along those same lines.
37 dealerships in a an entire region of the country is absurd. It's a damn Civic, not the last car on earth ever built. All this crap from dealers/salesman about "only 6K made!" or "only made for two years!" and lo and behold Honda is making more. Oh and have they fixed 2nd gear yet with the...
Don't know in CA, but in TX they look up the value of the car whether new or used and they base the tax on that if you put something down like you paid a dollar or something ridiculous like that.
