I simply replaced the halogen low-beams with H-11 LED's from Precision LED. They are plug and play and come with the appropriate ballast. The difference is astonishing and a fraction of the price of replacing the entire headlamp assembly.
The latest update to the S6 screwed up my phone as well. It worked just fine before the 'update.' Mine still plays nice with my Civic, but there are lots of other frusating things happening.

It actually looks more red in person, but certainly not as deep a red as I would liked. The package said 'red' for the color, but in the store under florescent lights it looks different.
All very true. It's difficult to know what is going to last and hold its color. Time will tell. It's easily removed if I end up not liking it. As for the heat resistance, I live in Florida, so that quality should become apparent pretty quickly. lol
Just to see if I like it or not, I added a red pinstripe to my black Si's grill just above the "H" badge. There's a detail molded into that section just above the air intake slot that ends in a point on each corner. It breaks up the monotony of the all-black fascia.
