Here's the photo I tried posting earlier, pro tip, don't work on plastic parts in cold weather right after the car cools off. Really wanna do a swap now to get rid of all the plastic inlet parts.
Sooooo how much longer on this kit? Lol
Edit: Apparently mobile picture posting isn't working for me, but cracked the plastic inlet housing right by the BPV mount.
-30 for almost a week here in Alberta, also have definitely been experiencing this, the other day I had to take a fairly bumpy road for an extended period and it sound and felt like the car was going to fall apart, my back definitely didn't enjoy it either.
Sandwich plate. Did the same thing on my Focus ST 3 years ago. I removed the stock center gauge pod (which was fake calculated value gauges, no real sensors) and replaced it with a speaker grill from a non-ST and mounted the aftermarket gauges on that. The civic has a very similar center speaker...
I take it back, after a few more days driving I'm definitely rubbing in the front at that same push clip as the rest of you, so torn on the solution, I'm loving how the car handles with 245's on it, don't really wanna downsize.
Gotta get some better photos, but for now here's my new setup. Got an amazing deal off my buddy for the stock BBS's off his Evo, 18x8.5 +38 and weighing in at only 18.5lbs, so 10lb saving over stock. Wrapped in some 245/40 super sports the Si handles on rails now.
Is that cutout on the passenger side plastic literally just for the horn? I've been trying to figure out why they did cutouts on one side and not the other since buying my car.
And I'm going off information I've read elsewhere in this forum.. like have you never heard of asking a question? Especially when it's on topic with previous posts?
That's cool, and I appreciate their opinion, I'm just giving my experience with the matter.
Wow, glad to see this is a welcoming forum when somebody asks a genuine question, especially since all the marketing material for the Si claimed 20psi.
People always say that, but the slower spool and delayed throttle response on the stock non-sport I always get better fuel mileage no matter how I drive it.
So with the Si dual map now is it the stock non-sport performance in normal mode or basically just sport all the time and more after? Wouldn't mind keeping the gas mileage from when sport is disabled compared to enabled.
So has anybody actually confirmed yet whether or not the "Eco button" options are compatible with the Si sport mode button? And does it make as drastic a difference as on Hondata, where "normal" is stock and "Sport" is where the tune lies?
