Let me know how the tires treated you!
Did 2 back to back HPDE weekends at Carolina Motorsports Park. Similar temperatures both days between 50-70 degrees as we went through sessions for the day. Notice they stand up well for about 2-3 sessions but then fall off a bit in the afternoon.
After a...
One of the fastest out there. Making us proud!
How's that Apex Pro unit working for you?
Considering it for next season. Their phone mount is pretty solid so far (just using it with TrackAddict for now)
Thanks man. Finally sits right, always looked like it skipped leg day from the factory.
Maybe we'll bump into each other around town, what color is your R?

Thanks again to @System Motorsports for the ridiculously fast shipping and support.
Great question. Thankfully its right on the box! But really hard to find online...
They recommend 14 kilogram-force meters for the M14 style which should be right around 101 ft-lbs
@System Motorsports Hey guys, thanks again for the quick shipping on these! Should be installing the 57XRs soon...
Nah FK8 is basically where I want it to be. For those on the fence or wondering if an incremental upgrade is worth it...especially if you're paid off already...I honestly recommend you shop for other experiences. I don't mean go out and buy another fun car right now. But maybe consider something...
Should be interesting to see the used market for them soon. I can see Kevin Boehm jumping to the new platform before the rest of the field. Kinda how his main partner (Skip Barber) was the first to field the new Si in the TCA class.
This particular dealership still runs in SRO TC America, and even had a few JAS-built TCR cars in IMSA for a couple seasons.
Chances are they either got some spares TC spec cars in need of a new home or they are leveraging their unique position to also move some units directly.
Absolutely. No VIN = no party. Unless running in the specific class for SRO or NASA this is kinda of overkill for the average track rat.
Sure there are other street legal CTR builds that are packing lots more power or aero and probably cost around the same...but this would be like buying a spec...
Titanium Gold appears to look way better than in the stock pictures for the GTC02. Only seen them in the best light possible from one of the FB group members last year, but it was still unmounted. Any chance others have run into any mounted titanium golds yet?
Good luck OP! Personally I really liked this service. They brought the tires just in time, a few days before a track day. The install was smooth.
Couple of their guys mounted new tires while I was in a meeting. Done before that same meeting ended.
I get what you're saying but if you're really gonna 'drive it like you stole it' you might as well be putting 91/93 in there. Seems like dumb thing to cheap out of if you bothered to rent something fun in the first place. It's like what a 10 dollar difference?
Especially if they're from...
I hate pile on what most have already mentioned, but no amount of hard driving on the street will require an oil cooler. Singapore doesn't have many places to drive hard for sustained amounts of time, let alone an actual track unfortunately. However if you want to run it definitely lose the fan...
Probably for the best, you give off a V6 rental spec Camaro type of energy.
Met more than a few HPDE and exotic track experience coaches that own Type Rs. Sports car or not IYKYK...
I'm sure the other commenter knows how/why it's used but didn't expect someone to really feel some type of way about entitled people of a particular background being called Karens? To the point he considers it a racial slur...
Let's all shed a tear for Karens everywhere...smh
Back on topic. I...
