  1. 2020 Type-R Parts

That's the correct number and yes, it is the piece shown referenced as #23 although in the Honda parts catalog it is #7 in the 2020 Type R section. The diagrams are for reference only and don't truly represent what it looks like, as long as the part number is used you'll be fine. As already...
  2. WTB: OEM Shift Knob.

Thanks, it needs to be the current style.
  3. What Shift Knob are you currently using?

Because all of you guys are changing to new and improved knobs I posted a WTB in the classifieds. Maybe you can help a brother out (actually it's to benefit a sister who is a member here). https://www.civicx.com/threads/wtb-oem-shift-knob.41950/
  4. WTB: OEM Shift Knob.

It would appear that there are a plethora of current OEM TypeR shift knobs laying around now that so many of you have changed them for something different. I'm putting together a driving sim for my girlfriend that is set up to be dimensionally close to her 2017 TypeR so that she can feel...
  5. At the track- very impressed!

  6. Official Polished Metal Metallic Type R Picture Thread

:) She left the track at Daytona on Sunday morning (and we all know what the conditions were like there) to compete at the Deland event and being only 20 miles away the weather was identical. We took the car to the Dixie event last weekend, it was wet again... In the morning session she out...

Where did this feature go? I could click on my profile and see who visited and when.
  9. Forum software updated ? Looks Differtent

Terrible format. I never use a phone to use the site, always a PC. Everything is compacted on the page in Firefox, ads all over the place, can't type in a username using @ as it misses half of the name. Too much scrolling to read a post that used to fill the width of the screen. Anything that...
  10. 2017/2018 FK8 CTR official factory production count??

I agree, it does seem odd. We were fully expecting to see a number at least above 15,000 and had to do a double take to be sure we were seeing correctly. Perhaps someone on the assembly line found a misplaced plate under a bench and figured they'd better use it....:)
  11. 2017/2018 FK8 CTR official factory production count??

No idea what it was being sold as, there was no window sticker nor details but considering that it is nearly 2019 it would be odd to have a new 2017 sitting there and it isn't like they are a rarity here.
  12. 2017/2018 FK8 CTR official factory production count??

@chi town brat and I are on vacation here in Christchurch, New Zealand and saw #4803 in CW new on the lot at a Honda dealer. We have seen two others here in NZ in the past week, all CW.
  13. 2019 Civic Type R Brochure Revealed

There isn't going to be a new model, I don't know why there are constant posts about "base", "touring" or "track" versions because it isn't happening. Car manufacturers test things all the time, it doesn't mean that those things will ever reach production and even if they did it's often for a...
  14. 2017 & 2018 Owners, what would make you switch to a 2019 Type R?

The '19's will make the 17's and 18's appreciate in value...
  15. 2019 Civic Type R Spy Shots. Facelift?

Had one of the R&D guys look into this, he searched the BoM for the 2019 CTR, it will have the rear wing change, different front bumper/grille/ducting and a elcantra steering wheel. The BoM is a work in progress so there will no doubt be additional items added.

She is a rare treat and I'm blessed to have her in my life. As a long time competitor and instructor as well as a Regional SCCA Governor she has a lot of knowledge which she shares whenever she can.
  17. Civic TC R

Built by JAS in Italy, run superbly by RTR and driven insanely by Ryan, great racing to watch and the car itself is no slouch considering the BOP. Today I spent testing the NSX at Road America with the RTR crew and the evening on a personally guided tour of PD's personal Collection hall in...
  18. Ebay Grill Link Here - Beat Overheating or Just for Looks

This will help to some degree and is worth doing if you are serious about running on track. The larger, more important factor and one that we deal with on the TCR car is flow through the radiator because of it's position, the backside blockage restricts airflow and until that issue can be...

Angela, (chi town brat) has been running hers since they first came out and is very happy with it. She adjusts it at each event then resets it to the softest setting (still stiffer than the OEM bar) for the drive home. This is her adjusting it yesterday at the Brooksville Evolution School.
