  2. Show off your Non SI sedan!

Hell yea brother still a nice choice! Would love to see a pic on how the 235/40s look on the 8.5 wheel. Any chance you could throw one up? And firestone firehawk indys are a great choice. Was thinking more of a performance all season rather than summer performance tire due to all the rain in...
  3. Show off your Non SI sedan!

17 sedan Ext mt. Stock. Acuity goodies. Saving up for Konig dekagrams 8.5x18 +35 and a hondata or ktuner. Open to opinions on wheel specs and tire spec suggestions. And tbh I just want a 93 octane ots tune so whichever tuner would be easier. Have also just recently hit a bird and cracked and...
  4. Grille for sale.

I’m in the market for just this. I have the same grill but hit a hawk eating roadkill and punched a hole in it. I’ll send you a pm.
  5. Simple Install That Wasn't So Simple

I still haven’t found one of the oem bushings that fell down into my engine bay as I popped it out. And I’ve taken off the metal shield at the bottom too. Oh well....
  6. Everyone's favorite game: Where the **** did this come from?

This thread has some hysterical posts. Thanks for the laughs boys. And about the blinker use, South Carolina isn’t Florida, but the amount of blue hairs and thick black sunglasses that control their vehicles like a 7 year old playing grand theft auto is getting scary. Saw a truck the had rolled...
  7. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Wasn’t too difficult. I did it by myself with my girlfriend helping me. I am not a mechanic whatsoever. But there are 3 or 4 YouTube videos that really helped me out. Search 2016 Honda front grill replacement. There’s one by DIY Honda, pro civic, and a couple others that show exactly how to...
  8. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Type r grill replacement . Came out decent looking, hopefully. Finally chrome is off the body. Now for wheel and suspension. I was going to try raceland coil overs and konig dekagrams 18x8.5 +35mm offset. Lemme know if that seems like an ok spec and if I should just do lowering springs.. Anyways...
  9. Any blacked out 10th gens here?

Finally chrome is gone off the body :thumbsup:Now for wheels and suspension :hmm:
  10. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Hey thanks for the reply. I’m pretty sure I did get the same one as you. Your car looks awesome btw. Great fitment on the wheels, are you on coil overs? And about the grill, was here any drilling or modifications? I’m worried about getting the bracket for the eyebrows off the old chrome pieces...
  11. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Ordered an eBay type r abs plastic front grill. Finally getting rid of the hideous chrome. Hopefully the fitment is decent and I don’t have to drill any holes. I have the front type r badge as well and I’m hopeful that fits too. I paid $75 shipped so who knows. There’s a couple YouTube videos...
  12. Changed MTF to Amsoil Synchromesh, I am Happy!

Got the amsoil Synchromesh put it and an exhaust and resonator delete for $70. Very happy with the transmission now. The notchiness is still there, but no clunks or hard shifts anymore between 1-2 and 2-3. I also think it helps to drain the original oem fluid and get all the particles from the...
  13. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Getting an exhaust and resonator delete. Already had removed left muffler. Time to get louder  Maybe prl catless dp/fp combo later :hmm: And getting Amsoil Synchromesh trans fluid put in. Ricer intensifies:spaz:
  14. Plug and play LED headlights ?

Lasfit offers a great range of products and prices that no one really talks about. My lasfit low beam leds were $32, plugged right in and have been running strong for about two years with no issues. And they were under $40...:hmm:
  15. Show me your aftermarket shift knob

Mishimotos weighted shift knob with a amazon adapter
  16. Changed MTF to Amsoil Synchromesh, I am Happy!

That’s awesome! I hope it helps more than everything else I’ve done. Limited money and tools makes me hopeful that this will be a great bang for your buck upgrade. Yes the weighted shift knob helped, but only slightly. Not as much as I wanted it to. However, it does look good imo The...
  17. Changed MTF to Amsoil Synchromesh, I am Happy!

Luckily a shop two miles from me is a licensed AMSOIL retailer, so I’ll set up an appointment. My notchiness is from 1-2 and 2-3. Already have a mishimoto weighted shift knob and acuitys cable shifter bushings installed. Car is a 2017 ext sedan with 32k miles. I’m hopeful that the synchromesh...
