For me the biggest improvement was in the brake fade. My stock hatch brake setup seemed to get hot extremely fast which resulted in lots of fade and wobbly rotors. My rotors would be true when not hot but as soon as I had to make an abrupt stop they would be hot and just never cool down enough...

Itās still on my shelf in the garage :) I just donāt have any motivation to tear apart my car right now. Had our second baby over the past summer and there is just not any time anymore. Iāll get to it some day but just not in the immediate future.
I just havenāt got a chance to get it installed yet. Have a ton going on this summer and havenāt had a chance to tear the car apart. Itās my only car and with two kids and vacations and work trips the opportunity hasnāt presented itself.

Well here is the result:
The bushing we made for the ctr flywheel locates the pilot bearing in the exact same location in reference to the crank mounting surface.
I ended up having to machine the OD of the ctr flywheel. Stock vs stock the ctr wheel is about 0.020ā bigger than the 1.5t...
Yea I havenāt seen any pictures of people doing this retrofit install doing anything with the pilot bearing. The work is relative because itās mostly done during my lunch breaks, and Iām not pressed to get this done.
Any input from someone who has done this would be appreciated, but if not...
