  1. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I totally agree. They ended up looking a little skinnier than I thought they would. When I wear these tires out I'll probably get 225/45s.

  4. Hit by a deer... $4k in damage

It wouldn't have helped me even if I had it. I never saw the deer until I hit it. Scared the shit out of me. The bastard was invisible. I will kill all of them I can in a few weeks when the season opens. Hopefully just not with the car again.

  7. Lol stupid question but is it safe to load a 500lb barrel in the back of Hatch?

I'm sure the vehicles could handle the weight. However, your back... That's another question.
  8. Hit by a deer... $4k in damage

The problem with these Civics is the sheetmetal is about as thick as aluminum foil. I hit the deer running 65 MPH. It bent the frame/unibody about 1/2 inch. I couldn't believe the amount of damage and the cost to fix this thing. It was stunning to me they had to rewire half the car.
  9. Hit by a deer... $4k in damage

I'd take it back to the shop and see if they could tweak it a little to tighten that gap.
  10. Hit by a deer... $4k in damage

I gave the one I hit a C-Section. There was a slimy little one laying in the road. I should have taken a pic of that.
  11. Hit by a deer... $4k in damage

2 fenders, hood, door skin, front bumper, headlight, grill, windshield, etc was over 7k. Radiator mount broke and hit the fuse box. Whole wiring harness replaced front of firewall as a result. Over 3k for that.

They did a great job on mine. Can't hardly tell it was repainted.

  14. New Here? Introduce Yourself!

It's amazing how expensive it is to fix these cars. My radiator support broke the fuse box. They had to install a whole new wiring harness along with the fuse box. Everything forward of the firewall was rewired including the motor. Dealer also had to recharge the A/C. That bill was around $2500...

It's an AVS Windflector. Part #77003. 35.5" Wide. Bought it on autoanything.com. Fits good. Cuts down the wind nicely. It is a little louder at high speeds but overall, I'm happy with it. I think it looks better than the Honda deflector. That thing is huge.
  16. 2017 EX-T 6MT owners, I need your help

Well, I got my car back from the dealer today - again. It was the Clutch Position Sensor. After a little adjustment, it was fixed. Now I push in the clutch, one press of the button and I'm on my way. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the help. And yes, the insurance paid every dime of the...
  17. 2017 EX-T 6MT owners, I need your help

I recently hit a deer and got my car back. I have a few issues I'm trying to get worked out and need some help. When the radiator mounts broke, it hit the fuse box under the hood. The only way to fix it was to replace the entire wiring harness and the fuse box since the wires come straight out...
