On my 08 si I am running the stock wheels with a 205/55r17, it's slightly taller but narrower. Works wonderfully well in the snow with studded cooper tires.
You can easily buy new sumitomo (oem supplier) connectors and fab up your own or I can buy, make the harness and ship one out to you if you would like. Any length just let me know.
EDIT: That linked item should work for you. Also going to link a honda one in a similar length...
Can somebody take a picture of the down stream o2 sensor connector? I know honda makes an extension harness but I don't know if it is the same connector or not.
I look at this and laugh a bit. Highly speculative that the bolts were cross threaded. Likely able to charge honda more hours for that, add a time punch time and get some straight time. Orrr, they fucked up a bit on reassembly and needed to fix it.
That being said why did you get charged...
Tough call, was it possible that the sensor was dropped. Pulled the generic code info..
Or was this one of the codes that can be disabled in the tune... too early for me to diag a problem.
What the P2270 code means
P2270 is an OBD-II generic code for the O2 sensor signal stuck lean on bank 1...
If it looks like shit, tastes like shit, and smells like shit, spit it out.
2 weeks for paperwork is nonsense, a mere 2 hours is all that is needed. I would make a quick contact with your legal team and fill them in. If nothing else than to keep the other side honest.
I got the letter (snail mail) this past week about calling a dealer to schedule a day to fix it. I just don't care enough seeing how it's not the primary vehicle by any stretch and don't really drive it either. Plus from working in a few dealerships as a tech I don't trust anyone else to touch...
I bought my 8th gen and Type-R from there now, nothing but seamless purchases. I've worked at a few dealerships and I can say that they really do have it down.
