So far its been non-existent after replacing the mounts. I ended up doing it myself since i am out of warranty now. The first 2 times I brought it in for clunking, the dealer was unable to address with replacing the complete rear shock assemblies. The latest revision of the strut mount addresses...
Follow-up: It has been 2 years and 30,000 miles since i did this, and so far the fabric seems to be holding up remarkably well. It sill looks like new with no wear.
We are finally into the cold weather months here in MN, and so far not a single clunk since replacing the rear shock mounts with the latest revision. Consider the cold clunk "fixed" finally after 4 years of ownership. :headbang:
Finally got the shock mounts replaced today. The material in the shock mount is a blue color/durometer. Old on top new on bottom. Will report back when we have some cold weather here in MN to see if its finally fixed.
Well, I still have not had a chance to replace the upper strut mounts, but they are clunking like crazy today, Its -8 outside. MN roads are at there worst so its pretty unbearable. I have had my struts swapped on both sides and the uppers replaced once under warranty. The real issue is the...
Here is picture of the new part #52670-TBF-A11. Installing these hopefully this weekend, and will compare to the existing updated ones. I had my shocks replaced under warranty for the cold weather clunking issue. Of course the replacement shock still clunked below zero weather, but never had...
Here is the armrests completed for the passenger side. Looks like they where meant to be there. For these i did leave the existing fabric as there is padding attached to the material.
Here is the item i purchased: its the same stitching and material as the armrest:

Here is the actual product i recieved:
Thanks, I just got the matching armrests off ebay as well. I cannot wait to get rid of the fabric there as well. FYI, I did not hate the fabric, but its almost impossible to get your dead skin cells out of the weave once they get in there. I tried using an extractor and still had leftover...
Thanks, to the original poster for posting this. This is a synthetic leather piece but it looks like it should last. Ended up doing it myself, lots of staples to remove, but it was worth it. For $25 and a the cost of a JT21 staple gun from menards and 1/4" staples it was worth it. Just take you...
Well I already run on k-tuner to get rid of the rev hang. If you plan on making a Cat- back exhaust, I definitely would be interested in helping you guys prototype. I really wanna get rid of the HDMI port on my SI sedan.
Welcome to the forum, i am happy to hear you started carrying parts for the 10th gen Civic. I still buy parts from you guys occasionally for my Evo X. I am about 5 minute drive from your facility. So this could be dangerous. :)
Nope, their stuff requires adhesive to be installed correctly. If you look at other installation guides on thier website you will see that. When I did my steering wheel with their alcantra product, thats only way to keep it wrinkle free.
The pieces you received are what I would expect from a vendor like redlinegoods. My guess is you will be doing something very similar to this to get these covers installed correctly:
.
Take note, you will need fabric adhesive, Tape isn't going to cut it.
This has nothing to do with using the clutch, try traveling between 3 to 8 mph in a rubber band fashion in first gear without using the clutch in these conditions and you will see what the original poster is talking about.
Mine was the same way, however, after flashing a ktuner tune on it with rev-hang disabled and throttle padding set to medium, I no longer have this issue. The factory tune is pretty far off for drive ability at throttle tip in.
I not surprised you lost grip, the goodyear no seasons are a compromise everywhere. I had more hydroplaning on these @ 55 mph, then I do on the 285 width dunlop star specs on the evo. The good news is that the vsa and traction control are always working, the bad news is it makes me really wanna...
