  1. Who else has low mileage?

I have a 2019, only 7,500 miles. So about 2,500 miles per year. I only do annual oil change, disregard the MM. If you are mechanically capable, check the brake fluid and see what it looks like, if not, go to someone that you trust (not Honda). Honda will say you need to do it, based on the MM...
  2. Those that are smarter than me with numbers, how much would I really lose by trading in my Si?

Yes, contact the dealership or the warranty company and they can assist with the paperwork to terminate the extended warranty. Takes about 15-30minutes in total, but it’s worth it.
  3. Those that are smarter than me with numbers, how much would I really lose by trading in my Si?

Also, since you haven’t used the extended warranty, you can apply to have it refunded back to you from the warranty company. Even if you had used a portion, it would be prorated by the amount of months remaining, so you should receive the full $2000 upon trade-in and cancelling the policy.
  4. What's your final grade of this 10th Gen Si?

Performance: B Quality: B- Practicality: A+ Styling: B Value: B+ I have really enjoyed both of my 10th Gen Civic Si’s (2017 and 2019). From a performance perspective, the engine is limited as a 1.5L; a detuned 2.0L would have been the better engine choice. For anyone that Had a prior Si, the...
  5. 2019 1.5L - Watch Your Oil Levels....

I moved at the beginning of the year, it was cheaper to sell my car (2017) and get a new 2019 instead of shipping it 5,000 miles across the ocean. My 2019 currently hit 1,700 miles since I bought it in March 2019. The oil MM just hit 30% oil life on the original oil; so I average 150-200 miles...
  6. The importance of a good Intercooler VS CAI

I posted this previously in another thread about over heating, but I want to caution some that rush into thinking a FMIC always improves performance, airflow, and cooler charged air flow. People like myself that live in 80-90 degrees all year round, and battle traffic/city driving every day...
  7. Ok TSP vs MAPerformance after lots of testing

I haven’t tried Maps tune yet, but I do enjoy my TSP Stage 1 tune. Overall it seems linear across the power band and it helps offset the lows/peaks in the stock. That was my major complaint when it was stock, I hated having to search for power (because sometimes it would be ready to go and...
  8. 2018 Civic SI Awesome gas mileage!

Since your asking, I’m averaging 17.8mpg, lol! I drive 1 mile to and from work; all city driving. I may get on the highway one time per month for a few miles round trip. Not enough to offset my city driving. I know my mileage is because of my short trips and city driving, I have no...
  9. Civic si has more potential than type r( aftermarket wise).

As someone that has owned a 360 Spider and Gallardo, Novitec and Fabspeed say otherwise. There is a huge market for upgrades to exotics, and its not just sound, they R & D heavily on performance. Here is a clip of the Novitec on an F12. I just drove an 812 Superfast with Novitec exhaust last...
  10. Si vs GTI vs N

I have had a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Coupe Track, and a 2015 MK7. Although the interior on the Hyundai was not premium, it was overall a really good car. I put 60k miles on that car with tune and full bolt ons, never had an issue. It needed minimum maintenance and even maintenance through...
  11. FBO Si vs Wrx FBO

I think the even more important question was it from a roll or straight up dig?
  12. Are the SI’s overheating on track?

A lot of people misunderstand FMIC. The charge air temperature will be lower, resulting in denser air, but the larger intercooler can add a slight amount of drag which can somewhat negate any power gains. ... To put it simply: no, a larger intercooler will not really add any horsepower to your...
  13. Show me your aftermarket shift knob

I installed mine over the weekend, the weight has a nice feel to each shift. It even feels less notchy. My only complaint is the height of the shift knob. It is a few inches higher then the oem shift knob, it took a few days to adjust to the the new height.
  14. 27won shift knob update?

Ordered, damn you shipping to Hawaii...
  15. 27won shift knob update?

I have too, but based on last message “$92.71, expect to see them on the website next week to order“ I expect launch is sometime this week. I doubt it will be today!
  16. *price drop* 2018 Civic Si coupe *like new* 1k miles $20.5k price drop

I bought my 2000 Honda Civic Si from Corwin in Fargo back in 2000. Coasted back into Minot on fumes; the car actually died as we rolled into the gas stations. It was super pate by the time we got back on the road and all the gas stations after Devils Lake were closed. Also, I drove that...
  17. Does 27Won CAI + TSP stage 1 work?

I've been running this setup for awhile, no cels or issues with the maf, fuel trims, a/f ratio, etc...
  18. 27won shift knob update?

Any update? Have an order to place, but don't want to spend double for shipping.
  19. Impressed at the MPG

I drive 2 miles to work and 1.5 miles home each day; no weekend runs, just my 3.5miles round trip Monday through Friday in heart of city traffic; with eight traffic lights to work and six on the way home. I never hit 40mph and shifting above third or fourth never happens. My mileage is...
  20. 2018 Civic Si Ktuner vs. 2014 Q50 Sport Stock

I've driven a gtr r35 and own a q50; there is no comparison. The two cars are nothing alike. The q50 is a an entry level luxury sedan, its steering is numb, it has a responsive engine with great power. But by no means is comparing a q50 and r35 remotely similar.
