Honda uses a certain type of soy-based coating on their wiring which animals find very enticing. There have been lots of stories about mice/rats chewing through these cables because they find it delicous and ending up dead somewhere in the engine bay.
You might actually have a dead rodent...
They never fixed it to stop developing leaks.
So even if they replace it with a new one, that one will develop leaks over time as well.
So basically yes, you keep getting it replaced until the warranty runs out and then you're stuck with that third or fourth one that will also eventually...
I don’t drive a lot of miles/km’s per year. Lots of short local trips as I work close to home and rarely venture out of my small town.
So I wanted to start a thread talking about which maintenance items should be done regardless of mileage, and are more prone to degradation over time even if...
This thread is making me paranoid about my battery because I often make short trips, so I start the car, drive less than 10km, and then turn off the engine. Then I start it again and make another short trip. Lots of startups in a short amount of time is known to drain the battery.
I figured I...
I took my car in for this recall last week and the service department told me directly that the replacement unit is the exact same as the original, meaning it is just as likely to develop a leak as the original was.
They said that Honda is working on manufacturing one that doesn't leak, but...
I mean when they are replacing your AC unit, the replacement unit is still the exact same one as your original one.
Meaning, it's just as likely to develop a leak as the first one was.
You'd think they would have developed one that isn't susceptible to leaking, but they haven't. I've heard...
Vehicle is currently being serviced for the AC recall. Dealership phoned me and alerted me that the front brakes have rust on them which could cause uneven braking wear. Said they'd clean off the rust for $60.
I told them i'd get back to them. Quickly Googled this issue and learned that all...
Wait I don't understand how people are having the same issue over and over even after getting it fixed and replaced.
Are they just replacing the leaky units with other faulty units that will eventually leak themselves? Why don't they replace them with newer units that won't easily puncture?
I don’t have any problems but my warranty expires this summer.
Is there anything I can do to get it preemptively fixed before my warranty runs out?
Or is this something I just shouldn’t worry about?
Forgive me if this is a dumb question that doesn't belong here, but if I don't upgrade my system at all, ('17 Touring Coupe) is there a recommendation for bass, treble, mid and sub levels for neutral listening?
I figure you audiophiles would know best. Obviously I understand that I will not...
Anyone with the stock 18” wheels have feedback on the ride quality and comfort of the wheels?
Is it harsher than the 17’s?
Looking to get a 2019 Touring but I want a smooth and comfortable ride, not one that’s bumpy where you feel every crack in the road.
I’ve searched but I can’t seem to find an answer:
Is there a way to display more posts per page? It’s super annoying to have to click next page over and over when there’s only 10 posts per page.
Meguiars wipes did this to my car seats:

The wipes were leather cleaning and conditioning wipes, and they said to wipe and then leave it. I left it for two days and this is what it looks like now.
How can I fix this???
