I RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY! You are amazingly generous and kind.
  3. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

I have the Navifly M500 that seems similar to the Joying model. Curious to know if anybody has noticed or found a solution for: 1) using turn signal triggers lanewatch camera much more slowly than the OEM unit (delay) and sometimes it says “please wait” on a black screen 2) bad backup camera...
  4. Plastic cable channel covers at floor-level along sides

How do I open the plastic cable channel covers at floor-level along thr side of the car (under the carpet)? I can’t seem to find instructions or relevant video anywhere. I need to run three 9 conductor speed wires from the front of the car to amps in the trunk and would like to reuse the...
  5. Amp Wiring Harness Bypass Feedback

Too bad it doesn’t ship to Canada :(
  6. DIY: Front Door Panel Removal and Speaker Upgrade

Yes, definitely. The remote knob would also give you more control! Yes, they have.
  7. Technical Service Bulletin TSB FIX for 2016 Civic Audio Issues

The car is amazing. I love it. ...BUT I couldn't agree with you more about the infotainment system. I would also lump the bland touring speakers and "sub" that were over-hyped as 'premium'. A "sub" wired with 22-24AWG is hilarious (but sad and useless). Despite the severe infotainment issues...
  8. Had to replace front Rotors & Pads after 29,000km/18,000 miles

I've previously fixed this so-called "warping" by going to a high speed and slamming the brakes on a couple of times to get the brake pad deposits on the rotors hot, and then braking with less force to spread it around, never letting the pads stick to them until the rotors are cool (e.g. no...
  9. DIY: Front Door Panel Removal and Speaker Upgrade

Industrial Velcro worked really well for me!
  10. Anyone testing iOS 10

I've go to the "final" iOS 10 Build installed now and it seems to be significantly better than the developer beta 8, even though that doesn't make sense. Siri is much faster so I wonder if they were running the beta versions off different cloud servers.
  11. Line-level RTA results for Touring mid and sub

Any active line driver will work. The AudioControl LC2i with threshold at max and accubass at minimum is a safe bet. I installed a remote knob to adjust sub volume on the fly.
  12. Stereo difference between Touring and the other trims ?

The main advantage is the separate sub output on the touring HU. The system has basically no low-end so if that is the only consideration, save $2K and get the EX-T. I personally like the leather and the look of the touring better, and the headlights are great so I have no regrets on that...
  13. Window trim misaligned? (Photos inside)

Mine is worse than those pictures and the dealer said it was no different from the five other civics on their lot so they don't consider it a defect. The collision centre affiliated with them said they couldn't do anything.
  14. passenger side floor soaked

My dealer said they fixed it and told me it's from my sub control install in my centre console. I'm skeptical that would ever have been touched during installation but I was too lazy to check to see if that actually makes any sense, and I do have a pretty evident aftermarket sound setup so... I...
  15. Anyone testing iOS 10

Yes, it disconnected for me for the first time today (beta 6)
  16. passenger side floor soaked

Ugh, I think I have the same issue. I can actually hear the water swish around...
  17. Anyone testing iOS 10

Developer Beta 6 was released yesterday and it seems to have resolved the disconnection issue that presented itself in Betas 4/5
  18. Wet Carpet under mats on passenger side

SAME THING here :( If you find the solution, please let me know.
  19. DIY: Front Door Panel Removal and Speaker Upgrade

You need speakers that are moisture resistant/marine-certified, ideally. My doors had plenty of moisture in them. It was winter so there are many possible explanations for that though.
