  1. 1.5T engine and vibration

The turbo engine is incredibly smooth for the power it produces. A very slight vibration noticeable under very limited conditions is not a "problem". You could more accurately describe it as a characteristic of the engine. I really can't imagine it being any better unless it were all electric.
  2. The Audio Touchscreen is a Computer Tablet , Problems ~ Reboot It

I continue to have to reboot my system at least weekly. I like to play music over Bluetooth as I commute back and forth each day. I have not taken mine in for the software update yet. I really have no confidence that it's comprehensive enough yet to be worth my time. When Honda releases a...
  3. OEM floor mats are CHEAP!

i would pay for premium real carpet and mats as an option.
  4. OEM floor mats are CHEAP!

That's terrible, it looks like you've been wearing boots with Spurs.
  5. How to do a hard reset?

Agreed, the Bluetooth and USB connections leave something to be desired. I'm sure Honda will put out some good updates. I haven't taken my Touring in yet as I'm quite sure the first update won't be the last.
  6. How to do a hard reset?

You can pull the fuse for the radio and the amplifier easier than dosconnecting the battery. The result is equally as effective. The fuses are located in the box in the engine compartment near the battery. They are identified in the picture on the bottom of the cover.
  7. 6MT 1.5Turbo Civic coming sooner than we thought

I had one in my 2012 Veloster. It worked fine but felt a little strange at times. It was not as smooth as the Honda CVT in my touring, my touring is also much more powerful and refined car than the Veloster. DCT is unique to be sure, but I wouldn't say it's better. You can also tell there's no...
  8. Leather Seat Review

    Nice video, thank you :)
  9. How many miles do you have on your Civic?

Purchased 11/18 and have 2400 miles logged. Loving the car!
  10. Black Streak and Shaking at High Speed

The black spot is almost certainly simply a thin coverage area in the paint.
  11. New civic touring

Well done, you're going to really love it. Congrats :)
  12. Premium gas gives 2-3 more horsepower in turbo models (confirmed by Honda rep)

Good point, here in Wisconsin we have 87, 89-91, and 93 octane. My wife's MDX requires the super premium 93. It simply must be used or it knocks. My Civic Touring runs great on 87. The mid grade is close to a 6% difference, and the highest grade is 20% or more higher in price. It's still not...
  13. Premium gas gives 2-3 more horsepower in turbo models (confirmed by Honda rep)

20% or more expense is certainly guaranteed. Real performance, the optimistic figure of 2-3 hp has been suggested. That's less than a 2% increase in power for a much higher fuel bill, silly.
  14. Honda Civic North American sales broke 30k units in November

As much as messing up a perfectly good car troubles me, I'm looking forward to the high residual value a "tuner" will provide for me :)
  15. Audio issues a deal breaker?

I understand the units are manufactured by Mitsubishi.
  16. 2016 Touring or ILX?

I can certainly understand a driving enthusiast wanting a manual transmission. What I have a hard time fathoming is their condemnation of automatic transmissions. If you're smart enough to earn enough money to buy one of these cars I think you'd be smart enough to know you have a fringe opinion...
  17. Anyone getting .9% APR / 60mo financing?

Best I could do was 2.5 from Honda.
  18. Any DIY guides on replacing the horn?

Agreed, I will certainly install a better horn once members on here figure out a good option.
  19. Audio issues a deal breaker?

While you guys are worrying, I'm enjoying the heck out of mine. The car is superb.
