My issue returned again, and decided to actually put some black RTV silicone in the same spot that MAKOOKAM did.
Based off what I've seen, I think moisture is getting in there, shorting something out, which is messing with the car's electronics/sensors back there, because it's also preventing...
Mine just started leaking from the same spots as well.... So from what I gather, it's either the rubber seal from the rear wiper, and/or the horizontal gasket where the lower spoiler meets the glass. Gonna have to analyze mine a bit closer to figure out where it's actually leaking from.
Hey folks - I knew this was likely to happen when I Krown'd my car every year (thanks Ontario for salting the crap out of the roads), and surely it did - my lower door seals have deformed from the rust proofing. The seals have gotten to the point that you can see them in the little gap between...
OEM Leather I think runs approx $500 to replace all arm rest pads and center console. You need to remove the door panels to remove the arm pads, and the center console just pulls off on the sides, and a few screws for the centre part.
Yet another "Capt. Morality" over here trying to steer things away from the point of the thread... How about you contribute something useful when it's needed?
I may have [allegedly] opened up my car to 160kph on a vacant country road to see how it felt at those speeds, that's about as safe as...
I keep putting off posting these for sale- I have a full set of the stock cloth arm rests from my 2017 hatch sport. barely used and in mint condition. I swapped them out fo the touring ones a few months after buying my car, these have sat in a box ever since. Make me an offer, buyer covers...
Well, while my gap has not really gotten worse, here I am, still seeing a gap that peak's it's nasty head when the weather gets hot, and goes back to (mostly) normal in the cold. Oh how I wish I didn't have to deal with this, or only had the option of modifying the bumper myself to fix the gap...
The visors themselves glue to the actual window trim, so no paint damage there. The clips are super thin and do not add any stress to the window motors; I imagine they're only there to further support the visors, if the adhesive ever fails I guess lol.
Just some advice, from a person who had all their window trim replaced - buy window visors and this will never be an issue again.
I mad mine replaced last summer, could see them bubbling up again mid summer this year. Decided to say “F” it, just got OEM visors. Glad I did because I like the...
This is the sort of thing that will likely only get fixed if it gets negative media attention. Doubtful a cosmetic issue would, especially if our grills aren’t falling off.
With a lot of us having this problem, what can we really do to have Honda permanently address this? Cause although it's only aesthetic, this isn't right to just be stuck with this issue. I've had mine replaced completely once, and it looks worse after.
A local car paint supplies shop suggested I patch the lining with a felt adhesive lining. I guess they sell that stuff to guys who want to adhere it directly to the panels, and figure this could mend the lining for me. I think I might even glue the tear with JB weld, since that stuff sticks to...
