I thought I would post an update to this thread since I recently had my Injen exhaust replaced with a custom exhaust.
Honestly, I would not recommend this exhaust anymore. It was a good exhaust for some time, but since the exhaust hung so low, I ended up damaging the resonator from going over a...
I haven't seen too many threads for these lowering springs, so I thought I would give you all my impressions so you can make a more informed buying decision.
I decided to buy them off eBay, and that seems to have been the right choice. Other websites will say they have the item in stock, but...
Here's a different question: How long after throwing on lowering springs should you get the alignment done? Should it be right away, or after a couple days so the springs "can settle"?
Keep in mind, I have a lifetime alignment with Firestone, so I could technically get it redone for free if the...
The other arms are good; K Tuned, SPC, and Truhart. In my opinion, the Tru-Hart's are over priced, and the K Tuned is probably the highest quality. But they all use rubber bushes rather than spherical bearings like the godspeeds. I just got my godspeeds in the mail, very high quality feel for...
From what I've read, all you need is a rear camber kit. A few different manufacturers make them, I went with Godspeed arms. They are the only brand using spherical bearings in their arms.
Thanks for the replies guys. I've since done some additional research and found these great videos on YouTube by savagegeese that cleared up a lot for me:
Hi gtman,
Still no issues with reliability i'm assuming? I want to do the +6 psi tune as well, but I'm worried about reliability in the long run(300-400k miles).
Do you have any comment on that based on what you've heard and your experience?
Thanks!
Title says it all. I'm looking to upgrade my brakes in the future, but I don't want to spend a small fortune on a BBK. What upgrades can I do for cheap that would make my car stop quicker and be quiet enough for every day driving?
Thanks!
Been doing some more research and just in case anyone wanted to know, I was able to get Skunk2 to tell me what the spring rates are on their lowering springs. Here are those specs:
front is 26 N/mm (148 lbs/in) rear 18 N/mm (103 lbs/in)
Honestly I am shocked(pun intended lol) that the rear...
