I have claimed five free oil changes so far with my car. Hamilton Honda has honored the unlimited oil changes. I have declined all of their other service recommends. I did all other service (fluids and filters) myself.
I just wanted to provide an update to my air condenser recall letter now that I received notice that I was approved.
I received the recall letter in July a few weeks after I DYI the condenser replacement myself. I pulled to together all of my costs around $700.00 and mailed in reimbursement...
I DIY replaced my condenser a few weeks. I was having trouble recharging the system and maybe only got in enough refrigerant for the compressor to run again. I heard a humming noise when the AC was running after the condenser replacement and thought that the compressor might have been bad too. I...
I have the same issue. I put Lamix film on the foglights. The film covers that light and appears to keep water out of the cracked foglight. I have had no issue for 5-6 months and the foglight works fine. Its an easy short term fix for $15 and I will change the foglight at some point.
I have never driven a 911. The Civic Sport holds up well for daily driving compared to my '07 Cayman. Save yourself 5 years and consider a used Cayman.
I have paddles and never use them. I tried to use them at first for passing on the highway. Now, if I want more response or sporty drive I just move the gear to "S".
I was on the fence about EX or Sport. I went Sport CVT for the looks over the extra features. The car just looks right in the sport trim to me every time I walk up to it.
I’ve had my used ’07 Cayman for 7 years and it was my daily driver and I keep my Prelude for the winter. If you ever dreamed of owning a Porsche then the Cayman is a great starting point. Its been very reliable and easy to maintain. If you are willing to do base service yourself then it becomes...
I wouldn't worry about it. I am not sure why anyone would buy aftermarket rims that look like stock LX rims unless they damaged a rim. If their car is an LX then the rims likely came with it. I do think the LX rims look good.
I was on the fence between two. The differences are minor. I think in the end the Sport looks right to me with the rims and kit. Every time I see the EX, its just missing something. If you want or need the extra features then go for the EX. Also, I like the hatch and wouldn't trade it for the Si...
I tested regular vs premium several times on my Sport auto. No issues with regular except for loss in power. If your a sporty driver then the difference is noticeable. I settled on staying with premium.
I use it mostly on the highway and when the wife is riding with me. The delayed throttle response in ECO makes for smoother accelerating with my heavy foot. I turn it off or drop to "S" when I know I need to pass or have open road to enjoy the car.
Good job, I got 22500 OTD. I couldn't decide on color and the dealer had almost all of them available. I decided to look at them in person and decide on the spot when I closed the deal. Just had to come back another day to pick-up car and final closing.
I would figure that people lean more to one color or the other. I am a blue type person and have to force myself to wear more brighter colors sometimes.
