If you're mainly concerned with keeping your car cool when it's parked, I would stick with the sunshade. I would think you would have to go pretty dark to even come close to the benefit of the shade, then you would be running into the legality issue.
You're right. The 10th Gen has wi-fi as far as receiving a signal goes, but wireless AA needs a head unit that your phone can connect to, like a hot spot. The 10th Gen doesn't have that.
Distance driven is not the only thing that is taken into account with the maintenance minder. The time between oil changes is also taken into account.
You mentioned it has shown an oil change is needed after 4K miles. How long did it take you to hit 4K miles? Driving only 75 miles a month...
Nothing I've read about the Tourer shows it supports Android Auto. Not sure what you're trying to do with the phone, but I would just stick with Bluetooth. You can still make calls and listen to music from your phone.
As some others have noted, this is probably either a 2019 feature or a hatchback feature. Be careful saying all cars have a feature if you're not sure. By the way, I tried it in my 2018 sedan and it doesn't work.
OK, I'm confused. I have a 2018 EX-T Sedan with Sensing, here in the U.S. Am I supposed to have auto-high beams? It doesn't say that anywhere in the manual, that I can find.
Is it on the home screen when you turn the car off? I would think the best way would be to turn the "show last screen" function back on and have it on the home screen when you turn the car off. Probably more hassle than it's worth though.
So, have you tried charging the phone just on the stock ROM? I really don't see why people root these head units. Seems to cause more problems than it's worth.
That doesn't make sense. Why would anyone be opening their door with their headlights on? I could maybe see doing that getting out of the car before you turn the headlights off, but why would your headlights be on when you open the door to get back in the car?
Here's a random question. I had a launch 2016 sedan, just traded it for a 2018. When did they add the, I'll call it a shroud, to the inside of the fuel filler door? What is the purpose of it?
They added Apple Car Play, are you worried about that? Adding Android Auto doesn't make the infotainment more complex. If anything, it can help. When you run Android Auto, and, for that matter, Apple Car play, you're basically just mirroring the phone. The actual infotainment system has very...
Had a launch EX without Sensing, just got a 2018 EX-T with Sensing. Anyone driven a 2016 vs a 2018 and noticed any improvements in the Sensing? Fewer false positives on the CMBS? Any unannounced or minor changes that you've noticed?
There is one very minor thing I've noticed, and maybe it's...
