  1. DIY replacing stock rear dampers, and front outer tie rod

How on earth do I remove this top bolt??? I am stuck, help!
  2. DIY replacing stock rear dampers, and front outer tie rod

Thanks for your reply. When I look up the damper remove and replace instructions, it doesn't say anything about removing the rear springs (which are all stock), it just says this: 1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear tire and wheel assembly. 2. Position a floor jack under...
  3. DIY replacing stock rear dampers, and front outer tie rod

Hello everyone, I took my car to Kal Tire for an alignment and they said they couldn't do it because I needed new rear shocks and a new front left outer tie rod. They wanted almost $300 (CAD) for labour alone for these jobs, so I did some research and it looks fairly straightforward to do...
  4. Steering wheel STILL off center

Hey everyone, I got an alignment couple weeks ago and got the car back with the steering wheel slightly off to the left. Few days ago I went under the car and adjusted the tie rod ends myself. Super easy fix and now the wheel is super straight. Just need a way to get under and some big wrenches.
  5. Steering wheel STILL off center

This method looks simple but can I just do the tie rod method?
  6. Steering wheel STILL off center

I just had an alignment and steering wheel is still off to the left slightly. Researching how to fix this, one YouTuber says to do the tie rod method above, another says to go into the OBD port and use a computer to adjust the steering angle sensor. Which method is it? If I do the tie rod...
  7. Please help!! My 16 year old daughter ran over a massive rock. What is this called? Can someone send me a link so I can replace it?

I ended up just patching my engine underbody with random clips off Amazon and a zip tie. It’s holding! Although I only have 4 clips on as the remaining mounts all got torn off, but 4 fasteners plus a zip tie are actually quite secure!
  8. Please help!! My 16 year old daughter ran over a massive rock. What is this called? Can someone send me a link so I can replace it?

So the exact same thing happened to me. Has anyone here tried to replace this entire assembly themselves? Looks like it's just attached with a bunch of fasteners? Can this be done on a driveway with jacks?
  9. Front Bumper Air Spoiler

I literally just zip tied my damaged front spoiler back up and called it a day.
  10. Loose glass in side mirror housing

I figured it out. There’s a small plastic panel under the mirror that needs to be removed. Fold the mirror in and push the tab out with a key. Then underneath are 3 Phillips screws. Tighten those! You may need a short stubby Phillips head screwdriver to get in there.
  11. Loose glass in side mirror housing

I had this happen to me in the past and the dealership was able to tighten it. Just wanting to be able to do it myself.
  12. Loose glass in side mirror housing

Okay well after closer inspection, it’s not the mirror itself but the entire side mirror housing that’s loose where it’s attached at the hinge on the door. Do I tighten this from the inside of the car? Remove the small door panel that has the tweeter to access the tightening bolt?
  13. Loose glass in side mirror housing

Really hey. No screw to tighten? Makes sense that it’s my drivers door that’s loose as that’s the door that’s used most often.
  14. Fuel Door Actuator

I had the exact same issue. I went to the dealership and bought the replacement actuator and replaced it myself. It’s an easy DIY fix.
  15. Loose glass in side mirror housing

Anyone know how to tighten just the glass mirror part in the driver’s side mirror housing? When I’m idling, just the glass part of the side view mirror is vibrating so much that it affects visibility. Thanks to all who take the time to reply.
  16. Wipers activate when starting in cold

The wipers would just activate a few sweeps then stop. Then start again and stop. It was quite random actually but now that I push the clutch pedal lots when starting, the problem doesn’t seem to happen anymore.
  17. Wipers activate when starting in cold

That was probably 3 years ago maybe that I installed the lighting kit. I got it from the dealership and followed all the factory instructions carefully. Never had any wiper issues before either.
  18. Wipers activate when starting in cold

Only electrical mod would be the OEM red interior illumination I installed myself.
  19. Wipers activate when starting in cold

So strangely enough I seem to have found a resolution to this issue. Basically if I hold down on the clutch pedal, or just pump it several times immediately after a cold morning start, the wipers do not activate! There was one morning where as soon as I let off the clutch after starting the...
