Sounded like maybe in the dash area but I’ll take the car out and try and pinpoint it!
My tint guy hates the Coupes hahaha. He removes the 3rd brake light, trims black vinyl to cover dotted area then tints whole back window. Looks perfect when done and no issues with lines or dots. Takes extra time and skill but worth it!

I have owned 20+ Honda’s and none of them under normal use ever required rear pads let alone rotors past 100k miles. My 18 Si tears were destroyed at 30k miles of which were all freeway miles. Front pads and rotors were like new. Something with materials or design causing the gouging!
My 18 Si has this issue. Peddle pulses and felt grindy at 10k. Dealer said fine and when I traded it in at 34k rear rotors were ruined. I had a 07 Si and it was on original rotors and pads @ 105k and no grooves.
