  1. Logistical question for HPDE

Lol! Well why did you sell your car at the same time I bought a house - this is your fault! For what it’s worth - Hawk 5.0 pass with Hawk fluids held up great for me at Atlanta motorsports park and I’m still running them on my car now. The caveat is that I am definitely a novice so I was not...
  2. I love this car. 10,000 mile “one car to do it all” update

I'm 5'11. I had to lean the seat back one extra click to give me the room I wanted and I had about an inch to spare. You may want to try some different helmets. I have the racequip closed face helmet and it's pretty bulky.
  3. I love this car. 10,000 mile “one car to do it all” update

Absolutely. I would KILL for a hatchback SI.
  4. I love this car. 10,000 mile “one car to do it all” update

I did Hawk 5.0 pads and Hawk fluid. Held up very well. I'm a novice so I certainly wasn't pushing the absolute limits of the car but I was happy they never even started going soft. I will say that the brake feel isn't as immediate as the stock pads, but they are very progressive in how they respond.
  5. Post pics/vids from canyon/track driving

Another blue one on AMP! Such a great track with such a great car.
  6. I love this car. 10,000 mile “one car to do it all” update

Just wanted to post a love note to my car on here now that I’ve driven it for 10k miles. I did an absurd amount of research on this car before buying one so hopefully people looking into this car will find this helpful. Who I am: Low 30s dude with a wife and two kids and without space to have...
  7. Civic Si in GS

I’m curious when shocks from Ohlins or Koni will come out and if they will make a substantial difference.
  8. Logistical question for HPDE

Dude I'm already signed up! I haven't autocrossed for 10 years, I'm so excited to get back into it. I'll see you there!
  9. Logistical question for HPDE

Hey guys! Just signed up for my first track day in my 18 Si. SCCA Track night in America at Atlanta Motorsports park in May! Prep will be kept to a minimum because I know I am the worst part of this car, but I will be doing brake fluid and pads for sure. My question is: can i just replace...
  10. Changing Arm Rest

When I get home I’ll post an eBay link. For 30 plus 20 shipping I got a leather cover for the console and surrounds that actually turned out nice. I haven’t mounted it yet but the quality is pretty good!

  12. Pirelli World Challenge Watkins Glen

  13. Set max volume when starting car?

Hey guys! In my old cars I could set s a max volume for the audio system when starting the car so i don't scare the shit out of myself when music starts playing at the same volume from when I was jamming the night before. I can't find a setting for this in the audio system so far, am I...
  14. Civic Si in GS

You are correct. I was surprised that this gen was bumped into G because it compares pretty well to the Fiesta ST which is the H Street darling at the moment. It will be interesting to compare this Si to the fords at nationals this year, assuming a skilled driver preps an Si.

  18. Release Dates for Si

Man this is so crazy to me. They are going to be building these cars in two weeks and still no word on MSRP. Really hoping for more info soon.
  19. Civic owner's guide updated to include Si

Yep. Dummies gonna dumb. No button on the console can cure stupid.
  20. Civic owner's guide updated to include Si

I would be incredibly surprised if the floor of the trunk was different than the Other models simply because of the additional machines and tooling it would require. Seems like it being excluded in the name of weight savings (with the real reason being cost) and then available at dealerships...
