I can realistically see every dealership with Type-R allocation putting a $5k markup on them. The Focus RS is proof of that and the M2 when financed through BMW Financial is the same price of an M3/M4.

If the Type-R comes in for 32k-34k I will strongly consider getting it but if the new M2, Focus RS, and 4Runner TRD Pro are anything to go by, locating the car will be the biggest thing keeping me from getting it. I need a car January-ish.

I think Honda has stated this already. Si will be sedan and coupe while the Type-R is reserved for the hatchback.

I don't think that this is a test mule we're looking at and that this is the production Si. I hope they have a Si "Touring" trim with the LEDs maybe some leather although I don't want leather.

I like the little touches they did to the interior, especially the alcantara. Seats look great! I can't wait to see what the gauges look like.

I think it would be silly for Honda to not include the DCT in this generation Si. You'd be surprised to see how many DSG equipped GTIs and WRXs with CVTs. That would be a multiple missed sales opportunities for Honda. Also since the Si is no longer the lone performance moniker in the Civic...

I hope the new Si comes with a both the DCT and 6MT. That would be a good indication on what to expect for the next generation ILX.
