107 - It seemed to love going fast. I'd like to try to go even faster, but with a class A CDL and all, I probably shouldn't, lol. During my test drive, I got up to 90 without even realizing it. Damn, my car likes to be fast!
Installed leather steering wheel cover, put glossy black trim from radio to shifter, dash mat (needs more attention to flatten down properly) and turbo emblem.
It sure looks like it, lol. I'll try again.

Here's a link to the exact thing I bought. I used that little brush until the little poof fell off. If I need to use it again, I'll probably just use one a regular art painting brush.
So today I took a blow dryer and touch up paint to it so it doesn't look as bad. That said, I sure hope I can get my car in ASAP to get this all fixed properly.
Oh, it absolutely is worse. How anybody finds this acceptable is beyond me. I moved here from Seattle and had never, ever seen dealership stickers before moving here. Tacky, tacky, TACKY! What's even more strange is that when I tell dealerships to take it off before I take delivery, they seem...
Yeah, perhaps you're right. It is a damn good looking car as it is. That said, I'm still open to seeing examples if they exist, lol. I definitely am not into the ricey look. I guess I'm just imagining something super classy and special and wonderful... perhaps to help cover the pain of having...
...I should get a custom one. Is that even a thing? I'm new to Civic, so please excuse my ignorance. I see add-ons to existing bumpers here, but haven't been able to find anything more custom than that, at least on Google. I'm also not doing so well with the search function here to find the...
I've never understood why something so ugly and easily removed is always left on. No offence Greymatter if you love it and consider it a mod, lol. LOVE the plates though!
One does not have to live in the state where they purchase their car. That said, why the hell is that tacky dealership plate still on? They payin' you to advertise? In Wisconsin, the dealerships put actual stickers on cars. I make them take it off before I get off the lot.
I also just did this mod. Fuck me.
So now's a good time to see if there's a different style bumper I want, huh? Maybe there's a bumper thread here I can check out, lol.
I was going to say I visored all things, but I guess I didn't put one on my hood, lol.
I was going to blackout all the chrome, but then I remembered that I'm 40 years old, and I'm okay with chrome. Hell, chrome was the bees knees back in my day, lol!
Virtually every 2017 offered in a manual, minus the luxury vehicles. The Honda was hella cute though, and for once in a very long time, didn't look cheap.
I used these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BDWKUFS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As for plasti dipping, I decided my history of spray painting fails should be taken into strong consideration.
Bought my Civic last week. Now the husband gets to drive my old CRV, lol.
Thanks to this message board, I gained ideas and help for customizing the Civic. I'm now waiting on smoke colored side marker lenses, exhaust tips, flat black 3M wrap for the grill and chrome window trim (hope it looks...
