I get what you're saying, but I would rather touch up spots periodically than have that hideous thing on my car. It just doesn't look good on this model at all with the way the hood is kind of split in two.

This is actually pretty tough to master. I have to swipe a couple times almost every time to get it to work. At that point, it would have been easier to hit the mute button on the touchscreen.

Glad they're aware of the issue and working on it at least. There's no way they the wipers are working as intended for the majority of us. If that were the case, they would have never gone to this technology from just the variable intermittent option.

Yes - they are always on so long as the features are activated (i.e. ACC or LKAS will function if cruise is engaged). It is kind of strange that the display remains on even when cruise is not turned on - however, that's seems to be how it is.
