Sorry, initially I wasn't really focused so much on the warranty (and I also was assuming that any genuine honda battery had the same warranty no matter where/how it was purchased or installed).
So now taking the warranty into account, it makes more sense for me to pay the extra $60 or so and...
Interesting. Also, I think this may have been mentioned but if I have the dealer install it I get the full warranty, but if I do it myself I don't get the full warranty.
The two quotes I got from two dealers are 173 and 180. I'll probably have to go with this as the warranty is a factor.
True, it might just be easier to do that.
The actual breakdown of the other place is:
100 + 17 (core fee ) + 10.95 (some other fee) + tax = 136
But then I'd get the 17 core fee back if I bring the old one back there... so then it would be 119...
Local dealer said they charge about $180 for the new battery.
Honda automotive parts has it for about 117, so about 60 more at my dealer. But I'll be driving close to this place soon and can just grab it and install it myself. Not sure if it's worth it to save the $60 though...
Do you remember how much the dealer charged you?
Also, I'm sort of trying to figure out how one 'dealer' can sell the battery for $117, where as I'm pretty sure the dealer closer to me will charge 200+...
There is a Honda parts dealer not too far from me that sells the OEM battery for about $117. Seems like a good deal. Here it is: https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/oem-parts/honda-battery-51r-500amp85-31500sr1100m
I haven't checked my local dealer to see how much the battery is but I'm...
I considered it, but it would just be way too time consuming and tedious... thousands of tracks...
I'm on show #4 at this point and on this one the tracks are in the proper order which is sweet. I'm hoping the next 30 shows are also in the proper order like this one!
Not sure if that would that work in this case though?
Well they are alpha listed before I copy. But honda lists them in the order they are copied onto the drive. First I copied the whole folder containing all the shows (in sub folders) at once. All the show folders were out of order. So I then...

So, the music/songs show up in the order that they were copied, not alphabetical. This is ridiculous. By the way, I have an LX so it's the more basic stereo. Can't believe Honda engineers would set it up like this.
Anyone know if a way to change or over ride this? I don't think there is but...
This is so annoying. Listening to live shows and the songs are out of order. No way I can copy each track over individually, I have 30 shows, that would take me hours.
So lame...

Cool, guess I should consider it at some point. Not at the dealer though I don't think.
I don't know, but apparently it affects fuel efficiency so maybe if your mpgs go down? I think mine have gone down slightly but it's hard to say, I'm sitll getting 45-48 mpg in warmer weather.
No I haven't. So I guess it's something I should consider. I have a manual though and barely use my brakes. Downshifting :) I had an Accord stick shift and never did anything to it (other than oil change) for 100,000 miles, no problems.
Had my oil/filter done at the dealership and they mentioned getting a 'brake flush' and EFI which is a fuel injection cleaning.
I'm calling BS on both...
Any thoughts?
