I know it's not the end of the world to not have the volume knob, it's just all things being equal, we know it's returning sooner or later, and I'd rather have it. But I guess not in 2018!
I just wish the volume knob and new head unit software made an appearance for 2018, but no such luck. Can't wait another model year for a new car though, so not sure what I'll do.
That all sounds great, but I fear Honda would hold back on all of that for a midcycle refresh, otherwise they'll have nothing to update for the refresh? Maybe in 2018 they'll update with the new Android-based infotainment/OS found in the Odyssey and the Accord, unless it's limited by the Civic's...
I love the new CRV. It looks like they took the CRV and Civic-ified it. Return of the volume knob is much welcome - too bad it didn't return on the 2017 Civicx.
I'm in a very similar situation to yourself, Psy. I'm a young 30's lawyer looking to buy my first new car. Buying the typical Mercedes/BMW/Audi is not an option for me at this point. You get way more for the money and I'd prefer the 10G Civic over the foregoing, professional perceptions be...
Does anyone know the reason for the delay of the Sport Touring Hatch or the Sensing option on all of the other Hatch models? Seems peculiar - just curious. I'd either want an EX-L with Sensing or the Sport Touring, which are both now delayed.
I love the look of the hatchback - I just wish it would be "revealed" already. We've seen production direct rear, 3/4 rear, and direct front - but no direct side view yet. I want to see! :)
Interesting in the video that HPJ said the Civic Hatchbacks were shipping over on a cargo ship called the "Drive Green Highway" and not the "Orion Highway." Maybe they were shipped on both? Or is the Drive Green Highway another name for the Orion Highway?
It seems like the large fake vents and all that black plastic are pretty universally disliked. I wonder who at Honda signed off on this particular component of the design? (Didn't someone at a meeting speak up and suggest they dial the over-designed bumper back a notch?)
I too hate the fake black vents/plastic embedded in the rear bumper - maybe the aftermarket can come up with a way to fill them in or something.
Otherwise, I absolutely love the lines on this car and cannot wait to see more photos and have the car officially "unveiled".
Still no additional "spy shots" since the initial front and rear bumper hatch pics loaded on the trailer were taken? Why didn't that photographer take more pics? :D
