So what is the overall consensus on LED vs HID? Because from what I'm reading I get mixed answers. Some say LED is great, some say Hid are great. I had HID on my 2006 Ford Fusion before I moved over to the 2016 Civic EX-t and I had nothing but headaches with them. A bulb or Ballast was...
Got the car back afterwards. Apparently the update, "Didn't take completely" so they re-ran it. The backup guide was tied to the VSA disengaging on the drivers side it seems? I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it seems to be the case. I got the car back about 30 minutes after they took it...
I'm at the dealership right now getting mine done. Drove off with it after they said it was good to go and the stArt up dash freak out happened for the first time in months. The car was pulling extremely hard to the drivers side and the backup camera guides were completely wrong. They're taking...
I've had several systems, so I know avg cost of amp, sub, wiring kit and time. Just never put anything in a Honda like this without an aftermarket head unit. Wasn't sure how to grab a signal and even then how to make sure it's not getting cut by the head unit. How necessary is something like the...
My EX-T speakers are pretty rash. Heavy on the high end that induces ear pain at certain volume levels and there is no to little bass existence throughout volume ranges. You're going to want to add a subwoofer for sure to the system, as for ease?? Not sure. Haven't put one in yet.
It may be 30% then and he equated it to be 20% based on the transparency of the vehicle already. I asked for near 20% and it was either 15% or 30% used. I'll call tomorrow and get clarification.
Dropped my civic off to get the tint on. 20% all around is what I decided to go with. The shop owner and staff all said no ones ever really had problems with below legal limit tint unless you seem to fit a certain stereotype.
Just scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get mine tinted. Legal limit is 35%, but I want a tad darker. Struggling between 20-30% range or to do the front doors 35% and then fade to the back. Going Lllumar Ceramic, gonna cost me $275 with a front brow/strip.
I've never been given a fix-it/ticket for window tint in another state where it was considered illegal if it met the legal requirements of my home state.
I really am starting to wonder if it's related to the battery/charging system in some manner. Because i've had the problems with the error message freak out more than once and my car often starts really hard like it's struggling to get electrical power through the vehicle and kind of churns(?)...
They reset the system, unhooked the battery and hooked it back up. Let it run for a few minutes and everything was fine. They said it was throwing 12v error codes before the reset, asked if I'd had any trouble starting it. No other explanation.
It did sound like an electrical signal was failing to engage? If I were to try to explain it, that's what I would say it was. If that's even what it is. Thanks, hopefully it gets taken care of and I can be out of here. I hate having to drive all the way here for things not to get fixed. Same...
I drove it to the dealership. There is really nothing wrong with the car drivability wise. It drove just fine like it has since the day I bought it. I'm at the dealership now. The hood doesn't sit flush and these error messages are getting checked out, it did start making a clicking noise behind...
