Congrats on the purchase. It’s a fantastic hood option. Yes, a clear coat is recommended to protect the CF from the sun’s UV.

Thank you adoong. Appreciate the kind feedback. I never got around to pursuing hood pins as I believe it would alter the look. For 100% certainty it could be a good idea, but have not experienced any issues with vibration using just the factory hood latch, so believe it’s good enough.

Hmm… I believe it would hold them, but I could be wrong. Only one way to find out if no one knows the answer. I always use Spotify via Apple Car play or bluetooth… so never have messed with the radio functions… so don’t know.

Not 100% sure on this, but perhaps while performing a boost leak check or inputting an air signal to keep the valve open, tightening this or somewhere else on the valve may lock it in place.
