if could , yes, P0011 is intake side I believe, can’t remember top off my head but that is definitely a possibility if everything else checks out.
did you do cam upgrade or stock cams?
Any chance AWE would redesign the front pipe for the FK8 to make it a true 3” full thru without the front part that goes to downpipe be a slight choke point and not being 3” there?
actually with your offset of +35 on stock height you should be okay. I don’t see you rubbing with that.
Reason I rub is my offset is very aggressive as well. Think of old school slight poke.
I ended up going too aggressive on accident and ended up liking the look so rolled the fender to keep...
yes there is slight rubbing, but with a thicker sidewall and rolling of fenders it does not do any harm. I am also lowered about 1” all around so a mild drop from stock height.
My 255 tire is a bit too much, going to go with a 245 tire for next time and it should sit much better.
Again this...
what are the error codes? Double check all your work and make sure you don’t have any leaks or missed connections (usually common issue).
if all is good, you certainly want a tune anyhow to get all that dialed in and car running as it should.
I am sure you are aware and just want some noises...
yea, it looks like the turbo seals may be gone.
If you wiggle the turbo shaft do you feel any loose play on there? It should be tight feel, so if it wiggles by tugging on turbine wheel the turbo seals are shot!
basically the difference is a leakdown test measures how well the cylinders seal vs a regular compression test which builds compression.
with leakdown you introduce forced air like lets say 100psi in cylinder thru sparkplug hole and there are 2 gauges and you monitor to see how well pressure is...
Long story short without knowing all the details, yes piston rings can still be the cause here and also in combination the sort of oil you are using (thinner or thicker) act differently while warm or cold etc.
check your plugs by chance and see if you see any fouling of the plugs on any of the...
Fyi it does sound normal and boost being released, but hard to fully say off a sound clip. The sound clip has a slight hissing sound that seems like a leak, but if that was the case you wouldn’t be able to build any boost, and the fault would always be on all the time.
it is a known issue, but as stated I would verify that you indeed do not have any sort of leak in the lines and if all checks out, I would run a vacuum line directly as I stated above.
It must be something with either the delay of the RV6 diverter valve that the ECU cannot pickup on on certain...
I ended up bypassing the solenoid ( run a line directly to intake manifold from the diverter valve, haven’t had the issue return since it was sporadic.
no leaks were found and no issues from it… vehicle building boost without any hiccups now, driven it for about 2000miles plus continuously on a...
Several ways to disconnect fuel , the one on bulkhead is easy access or pull a fuse plug to fuel pump, or disconnect lpfp.
disconnecting plug to fuel rail is a bit harder to get to since it is under intake manifold.
could also disconnect hpfp as well.
if compression is normal and still...
125psi is normal, per honda it states around 135psi but all depends on each moth characteristics and if you tested it with hot engine or cold engine.
Always some possible variables that may deviate those numbers some.
If you don’t mind me asking, who is your tuner?
did you install the pin just like that without actually removing the gear out?
also that plate has no torque specs from Honda so there is a possibility or have seen cases where guys over tighten that plate and causing stiff movement inside the...
@RV6 Hey Rich ,
Have you heard any issues with your BPV installed throwing P2261 ?
I have turbo installed and every so often I get the P2261 code to trigger a CEL (every 1k miles)
not sure if an issue or something else going on or delay with the combination of the Pracworks Mani.
Fault is...
