The only reason I let her drive it is because this was her old car that left us sitting lol
I’m glad the car kept her safe but I doubt I’ll ever own another car I loved as much as that one!
I hate to say this but it looks like my civic days are coming to an end. My wife tried crossing a parking lot aisle but didn’t see a car coming as she crossed. I hope insurance will total it since the drivers airbag went off. Bruce barely made it past 3 years ? I’m gonna really miss that car
Being treated to a CRV for the next few days while the dealership tries to find the infamous dash rattle. I’m paranoid because they’re gonna take the dash out but hopeful it won’t cause more issues since I’ve actually found a dealership that’s willing to help till it’s fixed!
Has this happened to anyone else? I took it to the dealership and they simply replaced the whole shade. What other kind of warranty work have y’all had done?
Finally got a chance to wash the hatch today! Unfortunalty I found where some low life scraped my back bumper within the last couple weeks. Thankfully the scuff is hardly noticeable but the bumper gap on the side is larger than normal..... :(
Haha! The new Corvette ZR-1 has fictional bumper vents all the Hatch/si owners wish we had! Guess I should have spent an extra $60k for functionality lol
1. My understanding is that the first beep informs you that all the doors are closed when you exit the car. The second beep you hear as you walk away lets you know that the car recognizes you've walked away and locks the doors for you. Personally I think this is one of the best features on the...
I managed to put over 1,200 miles on the Civic over thanksgiving but also got a chance to drive down the tail of the dragon yesterday! I don’t think I’ve ever had a better driving experience than 318 turns across 11 miles! The car handled it like a champ the whole way. I could do between...
I have the OEM deflectors and I love them! They are big enough to allow for good ventilation without standing out a lot. Normally I don’t like window deflectors that sit outside the window but since these are held on with 3M tape and clips that sit in the window channel they’re not going...
What color are you wanting to put down there? I put a red pin stripe on the black trim of my ST. It only cost about $4 from any auto parts store. You can get pretty much any color and size you want.
That worked for me! I didn’t think about having to clear any old codes! I thought it would override any existing codes if you tried reprogramming that button! Thank you for your help!
So I’ve run into a problem. Since I’ve moved to another house with a garage, I haven’t been able to get the garage door opener I installed on my car to work with the garage door. The garage door is 15 years old so it’s nothing new or fancy. I purchased an overhead console from a 201x pilot and...
It's really not hard to get off. There's a great instructional video on YouTube that explains how to get it off. It's not hard putting it back on either. You just have to talk sweet to it and hold your tongue just right lol It's certainly worth it! I made a short film so everyone can hear the...
Installed a Wolo horn from College Hills Honda today! The adapter they send with it makes it a simple plug and play upgrade. No more embarrassing horn that no one can actually hear on the road
Haha! I didn't know that! Why would they go to all that trouble to change the standards for the Si and Type-R? Maybe all 2018 or 2019 civic's will come standard with dual horns.
All I know is the LX through ST hatchbacks have the same horn as the sedan and coupe. With the harness adapter for...
From all the pictures I've seen the horns have connector that's built on the horn itself like this one.
If they had different connecters then surely it would be a significant enough change to designate a different part number for the hatch and SI. I guess it's a possibility they claim it won't...
I looked up the part numbers for the sedan and hatchback horn and there's no surprise that they're the same. I might try to reach out to College Hills Honda for an explanation as to why they say it won't work for the hatch, SI, or Type R. At this point I'm confident the horn would work but I'm...
Is there any particular reason why they say it won't fit the 5 door, si, or type R??? I can't imagine any of those would have a different horn or different harness connector. :dunno:
