The widest I have ever got on were 275/35 Goodyear 3Rs on Motegi MR145 18x9.5 (+45) wheels. Even with stock suspension (not lowered) and front lower camber plates I had to bend the front tabs in a bit. I would suspect it could be risky using a +38 offset with 275's while lowered, but I do not...

The issue may actually be the clearance on the inside and not towards the outside fender (ie the tire may rub on the inside strut/suspension).

I agree with Dave B. Shannon like is a nice starter track with lots of spots for overrun. Mosport on the other hand… I actually don’t plan on trying that one on until I get a few more years experience under my belt. Just not worth the risk for me at this stage anyway.
