Not really. Products like this and Sprint Booster moves up the entire throttle curve and reduces the dead space in the first initial parts of the throttle.
Ok this isn't a 10th gen Civic Type R but it's cool enough to post anyway :)
Presenting the Mugen Civic Type R from its debut at 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Can't wait to see a 10th gen Mugen Type R!
After seeing the 2016 Touring vs. 9th gen Si video by Hondata today, I'm back at 9-10. If a Touring can accelerate like that, I'm drooling at the thought of what the 10th gen Si will be able to do.
The coupe will have any initial teething issues ironed out by the time it's out. But sedan owners will have been able to drive their cars for months before the first coupe is even produced.
No, I have heard and read about it in the past as well. That's just the DSG reputation that I know. You don't have to be offended and take it personally because you own a DSG GTI now. I wish you luck with it.
VW DSG has a reputation of not being very reliable. I quote another member @Razer
I'd like to see a DCT option on the Si. No reason to reserve is exclusively for the ILX IMO. ILX is a sedan and Si is the sportier of the two, especially in coupe form.
The Aegean Blue color that they debuted the coupe in is a real blue IMO. Not too dark, not too light. Not too green. Not too purple.
I love the color and if green is the only new color they introduce with the Si coupe, I'll probably be getting Aegean Blue.
That's the 9th gen one, not the 10th gen one.
Here's the 10th gen hatchback, spied in Type R form. No regular hatchback models have been spied yet.

It's going to be a 4 door.
As an enthusiast, I love seeing more small RWD roadsters being made, but I'm not sure there's enough demand out there to support all these small 2 seater roadsters. I believe that's the reason the long rumored FR-S convertible was never made. I'd hate to see every company following each other...
I'd love to see a set of TE37 with some decent lip or a 3-piece wheel like SSR SP1. Lip/dish or concave would look great on the coupe like some of these rear 3/4 previews.
Man that looks a lot better than the factory halogens!
How are the headlight bulbs swapped out? Pretty much just reach behind the headlights and twist out?
Surprised you're cross shopping the upcoming Si and the Model 3. Electric vs gasoline obviously, but the Tesla Model 3 will be priced $35k to start and goes up from there. The Si should be about same price as now - $23k. You could afford the upcoming Civic Type R for the price of the Model 3.
That's why I still respect Honda after all these years. It may not have been putting out the most inspired cars in recent years but it's always keep the manual transmission around when everyone else is abandoning it.
I wonder with all the development time if the 6MT will be better than ever. I...
