  1. Wunderladen vs Hasport

Good choice in my opinion.
  2. How long would it take to swap a built motor in?

A motivated DIY enthusiast with a reasonably equipped home garage could get it done over a long weekend if they are willing to put the effort into it. It's a big project of course, everyone's experience will vary.
  3. Fuel Burning Too Rich?

It's not really a difficult job for a competent mechanic but is on the medium to high difficulty range for the average DIY owner. The injectors are not the easiest to get to. I'd give it maybe a 6.5 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. It will take basic hand tools and a bit of patience. A set of...
  4. Fuel Burning Too Rich?

I'd consider failed injectors that could be dumping excessive fuel into your engine. Failed injectors are very common on this platform unfortunately.
  5. Maf scaling

Can confirm he is running an intake with known issues. Best option is to replace the intake, either going back to stock or with something more reputable. It is a shame that MAP is still doing this to people. I'll always add in that in 2017 I tested this intake for them, made them aware of the...
  6. Intake RPM Issues

It is not possible for KTuner or Hondata to tune the CVT behavior. It is also not possible to program a manual transmission to change RPM for a given speed. I think you have something else going on here, if something has in fact changed.
  7. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

Just to make sure I'm on the same page here, we are upset that we have to pay part of the shipping costs for a $3000+ upgraded turbo package on a $40,000+ car? I've yet to talk Fedex or UPS into doing anything for free.
  8. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

It is fair to make changes along the way. I think the community really appreciates vendors that are actively discussing these things with us. Keep up the great work!
  9. Dangerous tune?

I do not think there is any circumstance where the OEM turbo makes an honest 450whp, regardless of how much fuel is available. Airflow limitations, not fueling.
  10. Dangerous tune?

I believe if this car was taken to another dyno the owner may get a reality check. 451whp is not happening on the stock turbo.
  11. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

It's not any sort of verification of ownership, it is because unfortunately many people cannot be trusted to modify the turbocharger to this extent without something going wrong and RV6 is not able to be on the hook for any potential damages. Rather than risking any poor experiences, they have...
  12. RMM for a tuned 1.5T CVT opinions wanted

I'm shocked to not find mention of the PRL RMM. They use a rubber bushing instead of urethane that has been much better on the street in my experience. It gets the job done with a very minimal increase of NVH.
  13. High flow downpipe without heat shield?

Any downpipe with out a heat barrier of some kind is a bad idea. Consider PTP lava wrap if nothing else fits.
  14. dcr5 brembos or genesis for front bbk fk7

Agreed. Get a kit designed for the car. There are good options from 27WON and Wilwood.
  15. Best Downpipe on the market?

Front pipes go well with downpipes when upgrading but definitely make sure to get the downpipe first.
  16. Best Downpipe on the market?

A carefuly placed defouler can help with this. RV6 typically includes one. I've seen RV6 catless downpipes go thousands of miles without a CEL thanks to the defouler. The emissions system error results in a check engine light. You can use a tune to hide the check engine light in some cases but...
  17. Best Downpipe on the market?

Nope, most aftermarket performance oriented catalytic converters don't filter well enough to prevent emissions system errors.
  18. AP Racing CP9660 6 Pot BBK Upgrade

One in each color please. :D
