I park it outside in Minnesota winters and had no problem so far. I also had it sitting in the snow for about a month (went on a vacation) and it started up just as usual after I came back. Typical winters here are below freezing and can reach -30F easily
I guess it will be fine. I left mine sitting out in Minnesota winter for a couple of months (Dec, Jan) and it was completely fine when I came back. No problems, not even battery drain. The only thing I did was to fill up gas and add stabiliser (STA-BIL) to it before I left.
I have aftermarket seat heaters installed in my EX, which are currently sharing a fuse tap with rear left power windows. I've tried switching it to front seat heaters fuse spot (32), but that remains to be powered continuously even when the ignition is off. A major problem associated with that...
60% 3m crystalline for $180. Turns out to be 48% VLT overall, due to factory tint. Got a great price and a professional install with lifetime accidental warranty included.
3M CR tint, 50% all around except front windshield.
However, I'm now a bit concerned about my rear defroster lines and wonder if the tinter messed them up. The top lines look odd and a couple of them aren't connected (pictures attached). I haven't noticed them before so no idea if that's how...
Works for me. I set it to the lowest distance setting and it flashes "brake" when I'm close to the vehicle in front of me and greater than 2mph. (works even for 3 or 4mph in my case). It actually braked only once though, when it sensed that might be a chance of collision. Vehicle in front of me...
Just learned that in Minnesota we not only have a choice on where to get it repaired but also get the parts replaced with original equipment parts.
"Minnesota - 72A.201 The following acts by an insurer, adjuster, or a self-insured or self-insurance administrator constitute unfair settlement...
Don't know if someone covered this before, but a quick downslide on the touch screen volume menu also acts as a mute. Not for a debate here about it's usefulness, just wanted to let you guys know.
I got the 8y/120k extended warranty from CollegeHillsHonda for $1020(no tax). sales tax only for ohio residents. They can sell to every state except Florida. I pulled the trigger because of all the tech involved in Honda Sensing. However, I was wondering about the coverage for infotainment...
I'm not sure about touring, but my experience with shopping around found me lower prices with Inver Grove Honda. I ended up buying from a dealer in Chicago because I couldn't find the color I wanted with sensing here. I had a good experience buying out of state and taxes/registration were not an...
HS completely worth it IMO. Although I spent an additional $1000 on it, I'm saving $60 per month on insurance with progressive (compared to the quotes that I got for models without sensing). I like LKAS and ACC, and I agree that they reduce fatigue on long drives.
But wouldn't that less fuel have more moisture % and thus adding more fuel would only reduce the % but not the total amount of moisture mixed in the fuel?
Regarding the car cover, I was thinking if it actually beneficial or harmful to do so. If there is snow above the cover, and once there is...
Unfortunately no, and all my friends have open parking spots. I'm kind of hesitating to store it in a strangers heated parking spot by paying almost $100 per month. It's not just the money, but I somehow feel uncomfortable with having it in strangers place for 2months.
