2016 Civic
history:
2018: cold air not blowing on driver's side. Dealer diagnosed that suction hose clasped and repaired. Added refrigerant. Under warranty.
2019: same symptoms as last year. damaged compressor. Charged me 1400 to replace. I called corporate and they provided 50% coverage, so...
after about 29 months, I noticed my driver's side A/C not working. It was just blowing air on a hot day. Took it into the dealer who said some hose needed to be replaced. On initial inspection, they accused me of contaminating the refrigerant according to their diagnostic tool, which was later...
I got rear ended, so bumper's gone... any recommendations on a good body shop? Price is not a factor since the liable party's insurance is paying for it. I had one bad experience on my last civic, so i'm a bit wary.
So I popped open my trunk to grab something and closed it.
I noticed that my front and rear blinker lights stayed on (not blinking, but on).
It didn't go off after 5 minutes. I tried pressing every button on my key fob repeatedly. I also tried pressing the door handle and door lock button. No...
I'm in Los Angeles, so winter tires aren't so practical for me and prefer chains for the occasional visit to Mammoth.
Does anyone have any specific recommendations on chain brands and sizing? Amazon doesn't seem to have any based on 2016 civic filter criteria.

I recall people waiting on weathertech floor mats to come about. Are these the ones people keep mentioning about?
Well I've been playing with my civic for about a week (just under) straight through and I was a bit worried about how the experience would be given the feedback on the forum so far.
So far the infotainment system has been pretty snappy. Not immediate, but the UI responds within a second or so...
So I set my destination to my work and once I get there, I'm not completely there according to my google maps, but I'm parked and good where I am. I want to turn it off so there's no more activity for it. I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Any idea?
During my own vehicle inspection of my touring, I noticed that the lens was not set firmly in place and just kind of dangling in its slot. It took the sales person a good 15-20 minutes to figure out how to snap it in. I had to keep telling him it was not perfectly flush with the frame until it...
What are some things y'all recommend to check before signing the dotted line?
Some thoughts..
Test audio with bass music for rattling
Test Android auto for glitches
Hood fitting
Seat warmers
Anything else?

Do you guys think this site would be effective? There's already 1 logged complaint with the speakers.
I found a decent deal on an EXL at a dealer that's 40 miles from me. I have like 3 other dealerships that are within 10 miles of me.
Do you know if the dealers closer to me would have their service centers work with me for warranty-related issues (e.g. hood fitting problems, deck not responding...
It seems like no one can vouch for a bug-free experience. What is your gut feeling on Honda's ability to follow through on having good customer service?
I'm struggling with justifying the $1800 difference between the EX-L with sensing vs the touring!
1) Led lights to me just seem like another more expensive replacement compared to regular halogen bulbs.
2) The rain sensing wipers seem unrefined (according to the other thread about...
I went to go check out the civicx again today and noticed these things on the bumper. It bothered me that they were not symmetrical in looks. On one side it looked like a lens and the other side was a grill. Perhaps the lens is like the front sensor?
Any idea what this is and can we even this...
Has anyone had a chance to experience the differences between the audio quality between the two trims? I believe the touring's 450 watt and all others (sans the LX) are 180 watt setups.
I don't feel like I have a need for sensing, so the only reason I'd move up to the Touring is for the audio...
Just curious to see for those of you who have seen both interiors for the civicX. What are the pros/cons of each?
IMO, the fabric looks more refined and solid. It doesn't look cheap at all, which I was really surprised by coming from a much older civic.
