Today I was driving I-26 in SC. A semi truck tire blew, half went into my lane. Didn’t have time to react, hit it head on. Lucky this is all that happened, but still I’m upset. Left side marker is hanging out, bumper screw holes around the wheel well are torn and it’s floppy(rubber piece)...
At 11,000 miles my cloth armrest is faded and stained. Not sure how it got this bad, my car is garaged and I don’t eat or drink in the car. Disappointed and won’t be getting another car with cheap cloth in those areas. Looks like an old sock. Would the warranty cover this?
Got this letter from Honda today. Power train warranty is extended to 6 years/unlimited miles. Specially for cylinder misfires on the 1.5L. Anyone here misfiring?
Recently moved to another state, and decided to sell my KTuner. It's unlocked. Listed on Ebay if anyone is interested. $350 shipped within the U.S. https://www.ebay.com/itm/283481864754
Here are a few pictures...
Washed doing the 2 bucket method, using Meguiar's super soap. I was having problems with my water hose at home, as a result, some of the soapy water dried before I could rinse it off. It appears to have stained my paint or etched into the clear coat, with a white outline. I tried removing...
"It might seem that the strength and mass of a truck would help protect passengers in a crash, but body-on-frame pickups tend to be more rigid than unibody passenger cars and as a result do not collapse as easily in a front-end collision. They end up transferring that energy into the passenger...
I have an appointment on Thursday to add tint to the rear windows. Currently it's 30% and it's too light for my liking, looks clear on a sunny day. My tinter said he could add 20% tint on it and bring it down to 10%. I wonder if that will be enough to make it look dark because ceramic is...
I applied my own windshield tint strip, 3 weeks ago. Followed the instructions, sprayed both sides with soapy water, used a squeegee. The drivers side cured and looks great, the passenger side is another story. Looks like crap, tons of bubbles, most of which still have water in them. They...
When scrolling through channels, using the "channel button" on the touchscreen, a message pops up "you are not subscribed to this channel", and I have to push "ok" for the message to go away. It's hard getting to the channels I do have, because of the constant pop up messages. Is there a way to...
I went through all the steps with KTuner v1.2. Uploaded stage 1 tune(even though I still have 87 octane in the tank, next time I'll fill up with 93). It said successful, but after that an error message came up on the program, that made it sound like it went back to factory. Not sure if it...
What method is best for removing salt in northern climates? It's too cold to have hoses outside at home, pipes might freeze. I don't want to go through the automatic washes, because I have vinyl and other mods on the exterior. I tried the car washes where you insert quarters and spray it...
The detailing shop that tinted my windows, quoted me $150 to install glossy black vinyl wrap on the door trim. I could get a roll for $12 online and try it myself. Is it difficult for a 1st timer, that's never wrapped?
Saw a new Elantra GT Hatchback today, that my dads friend bought. Black, and gotta say the paint job looked better than my black Civic. Seemed like a deeper high quality paint. HP is 173, nearly identical to my 17' Civic EX-T. Anyone test drive one to compare, and what were your thoughts...
Took my 2017 Civic to the dealer today. Was there to have them install a leather steering wheel, which turned out really well. The service adviser came into the waiting room and told me there's been a recall. It included CPU assembly, oil change, AC control unit replaced. Updated TCM and...
I test drove a new Accord Touring 1.5 liter this evening, and a new CRV EX-L. They didn't have a 2.0 Accord Touring in stock. The Accord was obviously more upscale than my EX-T Civic, however I saw pros/cons to both.
I prefer my Civic in certain aspects: Heated seats in my car are hot and get...
