If you have red loctite on anything connected to plastic, even a metal bolt in a metal keensert in plastic, the plastic is going to break. It takes something like 250 ft-lb to break red loctite.
What's the alternator output when you've got the sub blasting, A/C on max, and headlights on? Is it always 14.4 V? If it doesn't drop lower around 13.9V then you're drawing too much power for the alternator to maintain the battery. The alternator's output isn't enough to both charge the battery...
You can have an alignment in-spec and it still pull one way or the other. They need to drive the damn thing and feel what it is doing. Any monkey can read a chart and turn a bolt to adjust the toe to be in spec.
And when you take a vehicle in for alignment, they look at the alignment, not...
It sounds like the vehicle is not repaired completely. I would go back to the shop and tell them the visible differences you see. Clue your insurance company in on this as well.
Car didn't pull before, now it does. Something is not right. I would not accept the vehicle as-is. You paid for...
Air/fuel ratio is measured from the O2 sensors. If you had front end damage, I would inspect the O2 sensor on the downpipe first, as that is in the damage zone. If there is visible damage, like the sensor being cracked, or the wiring is ripped, obviously replace it.
if there is no visible...
Valve timing and spark timing are two drastically different things.
Re-read what I posted and understand the limitations that all electronic ignitions systems have in regard to knock control and spark timing. This is not debatable, it is fact.
The type of transmission has nothing to do with...
Just be aware of how spark timing impacts different octanes. Your vehicle is tuned to use 87, so the spark timing table will be retarded (delayed) compared to a tune set up for 91, because lower octane fuels combust quicker than higher octane fuels.
As you increase octane, it takes more time...

I have certifications in lubrication and lubrication analysis. Save your money.
These devices are like asking your phone if it’s raining outside. Just look outside and you can see if it is raining. Or, in this case, these devices will tell you if your oil has changed color. Nothing else.
That is the correct laser iridium plug for the 1.5L. Also keep in mind that Rock Auto may have the lowest price on the item, but shipping costs about $10-15 per package.
Rear only. I would go with OEM in the front.
The KYBs I linked above are nearly the same as OEM, just much cheaper. The OEM that I pulled off have KYB printed on them and they look identical.
Please do the spark plugs yourself. It is too simple to pay $200 in labor.
I posted elsewhere but at 100k I didn't need valve adjustment. At 200k I did need adjustment on about halve the valves.
If you start the car up and hear a clacking sound that goes away after a second or two, your valves...
Tires wear over time, thus the circumference changes, which changes the distance per revolution. Therefore, both the indicated speed and distance traveled will change over time. They both will indicate larger values compared to actual speed and distance because the tire is completing a rotation...
