Conceptually it's a great car, they just didn't have the quality control that they're known for in my opinion.
The subwoofer rattles and the CarPlay issues were really irritating. The dealerships not acknowledging those issues was worse.
I'd revisit the sedan for my wife after it gets a 6...
I've had German cars before. In my experience, it depends a lot more on the driver then just the engineering alone. That said, I'm definitely prepared to pay more for maintanence. Well worth it if you actually enjoy driving.
Traded it in for a 2012 Audi A4 S-Line.
The Civic X is an awesome car and it was serving it's purpose well. The feature list destroys most other cars current generation models from other manufacturers (including my A4). Incredible gas mileage, easy to tune, and what will probably be a great...
All of this.
The car has much better pickup and throttle response at high speeds. 70-100 is a blast for a 1.5 engine, but the improvements can be felt from a dead stop on up. Acceleration is great in all driving modes, L, S, and D, and no, I'm not tripping. It's very noticeable. It's a great...
I've had a great experience with them. They respond very fast to make sure everything is going smoothly. Now I just need to get my data logs in a little faster and all will be well.
Money well spent.
No, I would have waited for a manual 1.5t and tuned the hell out of it.
Driving a automatic has been a soul sucking experience. The engine is willing and with a tune it performs admirably, but the CVT is not my cup of tea.
I'm hoping I won't be regretting this mistake for the next 4-5 years...
Clover green looks like a pickle car.
Merlot looks pretty good.
Deep copper looks like a ketchup car.
Midnight Mocha looks like a turd on wheels.
Mountain air looks like a Dolphins fan won a free paint job.
Delaware to central Jersey. As far as commutes go, it's a really easy drive 90% of the time, just 160 miles a day. Commute might change to DE to Philly, so it would turn into about 80-90 miles round trip
I'm eyeing a 2012 Acura SH-AWD 6 speed right now. I'll take a bath on trade, but I should...
Actually low and sport mode is like downshifting. Not exactly the same, obviously, but they serve their purposes just as well.
And not for nothing, but you've got way to many steps up there to perform a simple passing maneuver with a manual transmission.
