  1. Should I buy, or should I pass?

    Or buy a 2019 and swap the parts for $600 - 800.
  2. Mugen LED Tail Lights

That’s right I forgot they’re LED. In that case I’d email the seller requesting a new set.
  3. Mugen LED Tail Lights

You should double check the bulbs to make sure they're properly sealed. That amount of moisture usually indicates the lights aren't sealed.
  4. 2020 Type-R Parts

I don't the hood and tail lights are different. I could be wrong but I assume the mirror caps, vortex generators, and the other black items may be Crystal Black Pearl to cut costs.
  5. 2020 Civic Type R Price Announced at $36,995 (a $695 Increase)

Buying name brand things has no bearing on if it’s tastefully applied. Sure anyone can buy a Gucci belt and such but it can still look bad. As I said no need to defend your choice of parts. Throw a little blue in there an it will match your wig. To be honest give it 10-13 years and your car...
  6. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

How are the brakes the same with different pads and rotors? What you typed makes no sense.
  7. 2020 Civic Type R Price Announced at $36,995 (a $695 Increase)

No need to explain yourself. If you want a clown car go for it, to each their own.
  8. 2020 Type-R Parts

    Cool, sounds pretty easy.

I'm not the source but here they are. Grill: 71121-TGH-A51 Winglets above headlights are needed as well. Right: 71124-TGG-A51 Left: 71129-TGG-A51 @jasonjm - if you want to update the parts list for the 20+ grill and headlight winglets.
  10. 2020 Type-R Parts

How's the install? Fairly easy? I'm interested in the shifter but waiting for feedback from reviews. Radiator as well. I'm curious how it pairs with the 17 - 19 grills. I have no interest in the 20+ grill since it generates less downforce requiring a lip upgrade a well. Plus the 17 - 19...
  11. 2020 Type-R Parts

The updated radiator will make the most difference over the grill I’d assume. Aftermarket grills opened things up showing marginal improvement. Curious if someone will try the 17 - 19 grill and see improvement since it seems like the better and easiest route while not disrupting the aero dynamics.
  12. 2020 Civic Type R Price Announced at $36,995 (a $695 Increase)

I agree with the Supra. After seeing the 20 changes I love my 18 more and will simply buy the upgraded parts if reviews say it's a positive change. The limited edition car is a bit of an embarrassment. 28 measly pounds and no real carbon fiber.
  13. 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition: Ultimate Track-Focused Type R Coming to America

While it’s cool they made a more hardcore version its kinda of much of nothing and I’d say worse than the s209. I don’t see anything worth the extra effort of trying to purchase or worth the additional cost.
  14. Live Pics: 2020 Civic Type R in Boost Blue From CAS

While I love the Prelude and it’s H22A there’s not much to argue about in regard of which vehicle is the better performer. The DC2 has a better chassis, is lighter, better power to weight ratio, gearing, and tire compound. Furthermore literally every publication that measures performance puts...

Like I said it’s on par with the previous cars.... Not all performance cars have all of the extras focusing on performance and I simply prefer that.
  17. Live Pics: 2020 Civic Type R in Boost Blue From CAS

I appreciate the R being more barebones like Rs of the past. I don’t want all of the extra crap. If I cared about leather, active braking, et cetera I would’ve bought a Golf R.
  18. Live Pics: 2020 Civic Type R in Boost Blue From CAS

No thanks. What makes the Type R special is it’s ability to outperform cars above it’s class and even AWD counterparts. I don’t think it needs more options and will remain a bargain even at $40k considering the performance. I appreciate the 17-19 models staying as true to form in the US by...
  19. 2020 Type-R Parts

You’re explanation makes no sense and if there was a major issue with the suspension it’d be all over here. It sounds more like you’re frustrated with your situation more than anything. Have you checked your states lemon law and/or tried a buy back? This update sounds like they’re making the...
