From a racing stand point, TSP1 Map 2 and 3 both netted me a 14.9 in the 1/4 mile (using ethanol-free Chevron 94).
Map 2 (21 lbs) did not raise K.Con. a single point during any of my runs; Map 3 (24.5 lbs) jumped at least 20 points each run, pulling back timing and reducing my power. I would be...
3. 5-4 hours is the usual book time for installing springs, so the $420 CDN isn't a bad price.
Unless you have a good selection of tools including an impact gun, I would not recommend doing the spring install alone. Reinstalling the strut into the knuckle can be difficult without a friend...
I have used a similar style bulb in my reverse lights.
I don't see why those signal bulbs wouldn't fit either since they are pretty much on the same area.
Do the turn signal lamps turn on with the headlights or not? I have the LED headlights so it's different for me.
If the turn signals do not turn on with the headlights and you were to re-wire your side markers like above, the side markers would only light up with the turn signal.
I don't see it being an issue since the welds are pretty small. If anything, using OEM bolts might even help hold the head of the bolt (if the bolts are located in their original location) while you attach the nut to it.
Sorry for the late reply. I hope you managed to get the exhaust on. Don't...
There are tiny welds that hold the front pipe bolts. Smack it with a hammer a few times and wiggle the bolts around, they will break loose.
I've seen this come up with some other cheaper exhausts as well. They either expect you to have an aftermarket front pipe or they glance over the small...
Maybe you were sent a normal MAF housing instead of the race MAF.
Take a look at the MAF, on the right side it should say: Si with an R underneath if it is the race MAF.
This example is for the non-Si but gives you an idea of where to look.
Vehicle: 2018 Civic Si
Total tuned time: 22 months
Total tuned mileage: 55k km (35k miles)
Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V 1.2
Tunes used: Ktuner basemap for a couple of months, currently using TSP stage 1 for last 20 months
Fuel used: Chevron 94 (CDN, ethanol free) mixed with E85 to get to...
Camber does decrease tire life. If tires normally last you five years, you might get 4 years @ -1 or 3 years @ -2 with regular tire rotations. I still have my factory tires from March 2018 and I'm down to 60% on the inside and 80% on the outside.
Camber also increases lateral grip (beyond - 3...
If you can live with more camber in the rear than the front, you don't need the camber arms.
For the rears, you'll have roughly 1.5 degrees of negative on the pro kit or 2+ degrees on the sport line springs.
The fronts will somewhere between 0.5-1 degrees of camber.
I installed the pro kit on...
Using your photo from your link, it does seem like the Si housing is larger where the sensor is located. My lines are exaggerated but I'm sure your can see that the non-Si tube gets smaller towards the sensor, where as the Si tube looks to be straight.
I'm guessing a 4mm difference in...
I would compare the diameter of the MAF housing/tubeof your current setup versus your old one, I have a feeling that the Si housing is bigger than the regular 1.5T.
If that is the case, you would have to scale the MAF sensor using KTuner or Hondata.
The positive fuel trim numbers are showing...
It really depends on your set of tools.
Option 1 - Drill off the head of the screw and take off the remainder of the screw with vice grips
Option 2 - Use a screw extractor. This still requires a drill to make a pilot hole for the screw extractor though.
Option 3 - if you have a rotary tool...
You can look at the downpipe instructions or the turbo instructions, both mention removing the Tip in there. Or you can watch this guy's video where he removes his TIP, showing where every bolt and connection is located.
