    I don't know how the install is done on a R. But in my SI I was able to replace the HPFP and injectors in about 4 hours, without instructions. And another 2, to do the intank pump. The worst part was getting the retainer ring off the fuel cage. Just simple hand tools needed.

    Not really. The intake manifold gasket stays on the intake side when the manifold is removed, and is rubber. You'll want to check that your new injector set comes with new seals, it should. You'll want new injector clips as well, but not nessisary.

    Injectors seems to be a common failure point on these cars. Best you can do is use the best gas around and maybe throw some cleaner in and burn through that tank of gas, before doing an oil change. Had to replace mine at 57k
