There are a couple of fuses labeled "Main" and one labeled "Battery". I have marked them below. There is an additional cover that has to be removed to get to them.
Can I ask what is the symptom? Is there no power to anything at all?
Ok, so you are saying that it's not just the force that is exerted that determines if the connecting rod will break, but for how much time the force is being exerted on it.
I guess if we are talking about nearing the max force that the connecting rod can take, then I would agree that the...
Ok, I hear what you are saying. Just let me try to clarify something.
The original poster says "peak torque is shifted later into the RPM range? It feels counter-intuitive to me, where with everything moving faster, greater torque is safer on the rods"
'peak torque' changed to 'greater...
First of all there was some question about whether you can hook up 2 OBDII devices at the same time actually works. There is YouTube video that shows that OBDII Y-cables work.
Second, I assume you don't want to simply use a Y-cable since it is obvious. But maybe you can somehow move the...
(Ignore my previous edit because I didn't read your whole question.)
It does seem counter-intuitive to me, too. Torque is not based on rotation speed. It is based on force times distance. So the RPM seems irrelevant.
Have you tried to open the door again with the manual key only (without touching the key fob)? There was one thread that said the key worked after waiting a while.
Otherwise you will have to call AAA the dealer to open it.
I agree. Worry about the gasoline. I assume there has been on problem starting it? If not, and you have a full tank, then add some stabilizer and fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank. If not full, fill it up with fresh gas and just add fuel injector cleaner.
