  1. Maintenance Minder for Transmission Fluid

The mechanic is supposed to reset it even when the MM is not displayed.
  2. Honda Civic 2016 Main Relay Location

See what Autozone says, but I would bet on bad spark coils. It is not surprising that they would be bad after 150K miles.
  3. Honda Civic 2016 Main Relay Location

It can also be the coils for each spark plug. But the computer should detect a misfire. Let us know what AutoZone says.
  4. Honda Civic 2016 Main Relay Location

Nice! I am only at 90K+. I agree it is fuel related. What have you replaced so far? Hopefully you started with spark plugs?
  5. Honda Civic 2016 Main Relay Location

I doubt it is a fuse issue. Is the Check Engine light on? (Engine icon) If so, get it scanned by an Auto Part store and see if it reveals anything.
  6. Honda Civic 2016 Main Relay Location

There are a couple of fuses labeled "Main" and one labeled "Battery". I have marked them below. There is an additional cover that has to be removed to get to them. Can I ask what is the symptom? Is there no power to anything at all?
  7. Can someone explain torque vs. engine speed?

Ok, so you are saying that it's not just the force that is exerted that determines if the connecting rod will break, but for how much time the force is being exerted on it. I guess if we are talking about nearing the max force that the connecting rod can take, then I would agree that the...
  8. Can someone explain torque vs. engine speed?

I am not saying you are wrong, but without the physics and calculations, it is meaningless.
  9. Can someone explain torque vs. engine speed?

Ok, I hear what you are saying. Just let me try to clarify something. The original poster says "peak torque is shifted later into the RPM range? It feels counter-intuitive to me, where with everything moving faster, greater torque is safer on the rods" 'peak torque' changed to 'greater...
  10. Dead Battery and Warranty Question

If you do still have the old one, and Honda did give you a new one, you could at least carry around a spare battery! :-)
  11. Installing a second OBD2 port [Advice needed]

First of all there was some question about whether you can hook up 2 OBDII devices at the same time actually works. There is YouTube video that shows that OBDII Y-cables work. Second, I assume you don't want to simply use a Y-cable since it is obvious. But maybe you can somehow move the...
  12. Can someone explain torque vs. engine speed?

(Ignore my previous edit because I didn't read your whole question.) It does seem counter-intuitive to me, too. Torque is not based on rotation speed. It is based on force times distance. So the RPM seems irrelevant.
  13. 2017 Civic won’t start, now won’t unlock even with manual handle and key

Sorry, I don't have any more suggestions. Let us know what happens, though.
  14. 2017 Civic won’t start, now won’t unlock even with manual handle and key

I understood that the key inside the fob didn't unlock the handle. I was only asking if you tried the key inside the fob again after some time without pressing any keys on the fob.

  16. 2017 Civic won’t start, now won’t unlock even with manual handle and key

Have you tried to open the door again with the manual key only (without touching the key fob)? There was one thread that said the key worked after waiting a while. Otherwise you will have to call AAA the dealer to open it.
  17. Keyfob will not unlock or lock

Maybe a blown fuse? Check the list of fuses in the owners guide for some type of electronics module. I am not home right now to check my manual.
  18. Civic not used for 9 months

I agree. Worry about the gasoline. I assume there has been on problem starting it? If not, and you have a full tank, then add some stabilizer and fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank. If not full, fill it up with fresh gas and just add fuel injector cleaner.
  19. Car stalled on flooded road, battery is good, engine won’t turn.

IMHO, the damage was caused by driving on a flooded road. While the CAI may have played a role in assisting water get into the engine, it didn't directly cause the damage.
