  1. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Thank you great response! Also, as far as the Injen. Sometimes I get a blip of on STFT of 20% immediately following deceleration, on WOT mostly blips at 10 or 11 saw 13 one time. Overall no real issues with it I've kept an eye on it because I know the troubles with them. I would also like to...

...about smoothness and linear power progression. That's why I think toadgoat says he prefers the jumpier off the line feel of an aggressive starter map. I get it. I ran a tune like that for a while and mostly loved it. But after a while I felt like I wanted a bit more protection for the CVT...

can you adjust anything like that on 1.5R? I'm assuming its all locked out
  4. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Honestly, I prefer the starter 21 PSI, i’ll attach my settings, but the 1.5R didn’t feel as good to me. You have more customization options which I see as more fun/engaging. Not sure why the 1.5R wasn’t as amazing as everyone claimed it to be. I may have to look into it a little more to see if...

Totally different feel. Don't get me wrong, I had all the dials turned up on my Starter tunes as well. Super fun feeling moving in and out of tight windows in congested city traffic. For me though, I realized the balance just wasn't there. On the highway, high speed stuff was disappointing to...

...questions: - No, I don't recall switching maps on the run. There is a chance maybe I messed with it, but to my understanding, the ktuner starter only comes with 1 map, and if you switch between the 3(using on-the-fly), they are still all the same, no? - regarding the air filter, a week or...
  7. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

...I started with Hondata and their +6 tune. It was solid but basically stock-ish at lower rpm with a decent top end. Switched to KTuner and the Starter 21 as you know is great down low but disappointing up top. Switched to TSP and it felt like the Hondata +6 with more power. I currently run...
  8. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Is there a way to get the feeling with the starter 21 low RPM and that kick at the top with TSPs stage 1? 👀

That's odd. If I was to create a new Starter tune, I see this: Contact [email protected]

Are you opening a "Starter tune"? The "Stage" tunes are mostly locked and won't have much you can touch.

  15. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I'm profoundly grateful for your assistance. As someone who spent WAY too long in graduate school, the only skill I acquired there was "research." Nevertheless, beyond this thread, I don't trust what's out there. That said, I don't know how to change a map. I presume that needs to be done on...
  16. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

The Econ button never flashed you back to stock. It's basically a reduced power map with the standard Honda eco "features". When you do a Starter 21, there are 3 maps where you can choose your psi level as well as 3 levels of eco. Once you set that up, I can explain map switching in detail...
  17. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Also, I have TunerView running on my Android head unit, connected via Bluetooth.
  18. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Done. Starter 21 flashed and active. Now I'm trying to figure out how to change power levels. I'm not sure I should trust YouTube vids. Does the ECO button still change me back to stock? Guess I should take it for a spin and find out. Duh.
