I just got my Ktuner but I'm waiting (not for long, phearable have been very fast so far) for my 1.5 tune. If I charge my battery at the same time as I flash base tune, and let's say tomorrow I reflash did I will kill my battery lol?

...the upload your tune into one of the five KTuner tune slots.
5. Go to your car with your laptop and plug in your KTuner to the OBD-II port. Flash your tune via the KTuner software. Watch the dash light up with errors like a Christmas tree. Let the flash finish and follow all prompts.

...the main reason why I'm even considering getting ktuner as I kept thinking before "it's a CVT why would I spend money tuning it?"
I've watched a few vids on flashing the ECU with TSP, but after it says flash successful. Do I need to tinker with any settings with the actual car or is it good...
...notes: Tuned during my lunch break at work lol. I did some research and made sure both my car and my laptop were plugged in during the flash. Throttle response 1 feels really good and subtle so far. Low speed maneuvers are still very doable, but the car feels really eager to go like when you...

...issues. From what I know, this is normal operation.
Another issue I have is that my TunerView app doesn't show my CVT temperature. When I reflash, it'll show for a little bit, but after a day or so it will freeze at a certain value.
Driving style: Mostly highway driving, every now and then...
Hey, I'll double check tomorrow when I'm not getting beat up by a headache. Wait are you saying that TSP stage 1 has more than one map on it? Or am I just understanding you wrong. If so.... 😈
@BrightFriend thanks for adding your car. I just want to be sure you know how the TSP 1 tune works.
Once you flash the tune there are 3 different maps included:
Map 1 has similar boost to stock but is better than factory.
Map 2 has a touch more boost and a livelier feel.
Map 3 is the full on...
is there a way to find out when the datalog was created? I had 5 on the OB logging and I just picked the 2nd one since the 1st was the smallest size in KB. I think I may have done some of the logs during the boost problem. I'm not sure how to check which is the most recent.
EDIT: no I do not...
...any way. You're running extremely rich.
That -17.97% LTFT number does not look good. The way you can for sure tell it's not the tune is to flash back to stock. I'm sure fuel trims will be equally bad. This is something that was happening before the tune.
Those highly rich numbers could be...
...on swapped engine. 1 year 1.5 turbo engine 1 year untouched more or less.

DO NOT recommend on the stock clutch if you want to race it much. Mine was slipping bad in 1.5R. In case you do and smoke it I went with Comp Clutch stage 2 has been a great daily option for me.
I would absolutely upgrade to 1.5R, but I am still on stock clutch, and I'll be honest, outside of interpreting the displayed values, I have no Idea how to load or flash tunes. My ktuner came with the car when I bought it, I've never really messed with it. Plus I have no idea how much tunes cost

...it's just that it feels so smooth and natural, as if this was the intended performance of the car. For my April '23 NYS inspection, I did not flash back to stock. The garage told me that they had issues getting the car to pass the NYS "emissions" tests but they were able to "push" it through...
