    Interesting... I wonder why the dirty MAF sensors are much more common with aftermarket intakes. Maybe there is just more oil or maybe it's because the majority of people who have an aftermarket intake are tuned, and the increased volume of air is speeding up the process. 🤔

In fact, with an oiled filter type intake, the MAF sensor will get coated in a very thin layer of oil, making it much more likely to catch the dirt.     Cobra CAI. Running a Cobra CAI. I'd like to think the filter keeps the MAF clean but it's been 5,000 miles since I last cleaned the air filter + 2 events in heavy rain. I've been meaning to pick up a recharge kit from PRL but the red option is almost always sold out.
