  1. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I'm profoundly grateful for your assistance. As someone who spent WAY too long in graduate school, the only skill I acquired there was "research." Nevertheless, beyond this thread, I don't trust what's out there. That said, I don't know how to change a map. I presume that needs to be done on...
  2. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

The Econ button never flashed you back to stock. It's basically a reduced power map with the standard Honda eco "features". When you do a Starter 21, there are 3 maps where you can choose your psi level as well as 3 levels of eco. Once you set that up, I can explain map switching in detail...

Also, I have TunerView running on my Android head unit, connected via Bluetooth.

Done. Starter 21 flashed and active. Now I'm trying to figure out how to change power levels. I'm not sure I should trust YouTube vids. Does the ECO button still change me back to stock? Guess I should take it for a spin and find out. Duh.

...of normal driving. Overall, the car is just humming along and is still a blast to drive. Driving style: I'm still on full-time map 3, with ECO set. I switch ECO off when I do pulls and have beaten several cars I thought I would just be able to stay with (GR86/BRZ, WRX, Lexus, BMWs, Accord...

**UPDATE** I am still driving this car daily and have put CONSIDERABLE mileage on it over the past two and a half years. The phearable tune has been incredible. I moved south of the city and my commute is much smoother with far less stop and go. I have made several 2,000 mile round trips to the...

...trims happy, AFR happy, boost levels happy. It's more of a "wtf" instead of an actual problem. I've also noticed a significant decrease in fuel economy (previous average was 32-35mpg, now it's 27-32mpg per tank), but there are a lot of things that can factor in there -- new stickier tires...

I only drove about 50 miles (thats what was left in tank ) and filled up with sunoco premium 91 today. I did watch the knock control on regular it fluxuated from .60-.95 but stayed around .80ish. Now on premium its like .50-.80 but stays around .60ish mostly.

Honestly if you don't, every time you do a pull you have the chance of some real knock --- not good. I ran that tune for a long time. It's very good but you need that higher octane to keep your knock control in check. I'd just run it in Map 1 Eco until you can get better gas.

Good evening! I have similar mods with my 17' Touring and now recently the Hondata Flash pro and cat back delete. Today I inadvertently tested my gas mileage range. I ran 382 miles, and passed up several gas stations on my road trip back home. I was 60 miles from home when my Fuel light came on...

...is still a little worse throttle smoothing compared to the OEM 1.5R, and I got a pretty fair amount of rev hang when I let off the throttle with "ECO" off, but it's way more manageable and predictable with the MAF-specific tune. I would liken it to the 1.5T at this point. I'll drive it...

-installed fp/dp high flow cat around 70k miles. -just passed 75k miles -having issues with negative ltft and Stft’s cleaned MAF, returned to factory tune for a week. No change. Most likely maf if injectors. Planning to upgrade injectors to SI injectors and replace maf sensor.
