Unless your running ethanol, big turbo, or custom tuned, you don't really have to worry about the head lifting.
But upgrading would be great peace of mind, especially if you are planning on being tuned and owning the car for many years.

Also, as far as the Injen. Sometimes I get a blip of on STFT of 20% immediately following deceleration, on WOT mostly blips at 10 or 11 saw 13 one time. Overall no real issues with it I've kept an eye on it because I know the troubles with them.
