  1. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

...out the new girl at the office runs a tuning shop (Premier Raceworx) with her husband. How cool is that, to have a gearhead coworker that has a dyno at her house?! She also knows one of the top Honda tuners in Georgia (Angel Rodriguez) and said she'd make an introduction. Apparently, he...

...such as lightweight battery and removed spare tire/tools but also added weight such as strut bar. Also waiting to receive latest virtual dyno numbers on revised tune. I’m expecting the torque to be lower. It’s not a definitive aspect to follow up on legitimately, but it merely gives me an...

  4. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Thank you for this info, I might just go with the first option and if I like it it’ll save me a couple hundred bucks on the dyno. Will poke around to see if anyone is running the 2.5R on a similar setup to get an idea. I promise I will not become overzealous with this “self-tuning” and become...

...You'd buy their 2.5R flex tune. Then for an additional $99 John Vega dials it in a little better for your mod list. Not a true custom but he's a tune guru. On the other hand, with your mod list a custom e-tune from Vega or D-Rob would be a better way to go, short of an in-person dyno tune.
  6. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I have been pretty set on getting on a dyno, but I may have dismissed the idea of running phearable or an e-tune too quickly. I like being able to make little adjustments when i want to on the basemap, so I’m afraid that I wont be able to edit the tables/quick adjustments on phearable. Also...

...doing some sketchy canyon driving sometimes though. Tune experience notes: Haven't been custom tuned yet, planning to get on the IMW mustang dyno soon but I need to install this turbo/inlet first then save some money. No problems with KTuner basemaps at all, hasn't affected my car despite...

Just wondering, what power levels would warrant an upgrade in the gears?
  9. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

How in the world did you get HPD parts? I heard you have to jump through tons of loops to get them?
  10. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

...like a yearly therapy session for me at this point. Recently went down to 27Won to let them use my car for an R&D project and got some Hub Dyno results on my current set up as well. 331 WHP on 91 Octane with E30. The HP Fuel Pump is indeed the bottleneck at this point in the journey. Also...

NEW: Also a lot more butt dyno experience with the CVT recently has helped a lot with understanding how to make it work with you (shoutout to the Myx two-step) Tune experience...

...issues after around a year of issues with it. During that year I put approximately 800 miles on the car either at the track, testing, or on the dyno. Now that its sorted, I'll say current tuned miles are 50. Fuel: 97-100 octane Tune: HONDATA tuned custom tunes Additional related mods...

...had it tuned at PSi, lowest HP car they ever did. I came out of their carbon fiber bathroom, as they moved the twin turbo lamborghini off the dyno to tune my 230hp civic lol. But now after getting TSP then TSP 1+, it really does shine and bring that smile back. TSP 1 I thought was great, but...

Update: Installed SiriMoto 22mm rear sway bar, set on hard. Easy install, 6 bolt removal, 8 going on. Totally changed car. It wants to turn. Best way to describe it is corners’ feel 10-15 mph slower. With cruise set on 70, corners that used to feel “on the edge” meaning borderline kick the...

...likelihood of fuel getting everywhere. But after that I will be set! Will also install new spark plugs while I’m at it to just have the best dyno day I can get it and gap them down to .20 for this. So this will be fun! Thanks to the main guy that did the Hondata kit first. Huge shoutout to...

Stock ic vs 27won stock IC is tiny especially the piping my iats are pretty close when cruising but iat2 (before throttlebody cold side charge pipe) will always be high after a hard pull. I see you are at the point of not dumping any more money into it… Ive gone hard in the paint on my build 🤣...
