  1. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

...a stop and trying to move is basically gone. The CVT still takes time to adjust, but it's a slow ramp up instead of no response. Surprisingly my mpg went up slightly from 30 to 32 mpg. I had a little too much fun with WOT and got pulled over for going 80 in a 55 rural road... oops. I got off...

...Tuning device(s) used: KTunerV2 Tunes used: Phearable 1.5 ( I hang out in MAP2) Fuel used: Costco 91 Tune experience notes: No issues at all. MPG went up slightly. I stick with Costco 91 and my KCon stays at .49. When I jump on it (occasionally) it spikes to .60-.67, but rebounds to .49...

...upwards of 0.83. Haven't tried MAP 3 since. Other than that, no issues. Driving Style: Super chill during the weekdays. Currently still hit 40 mpg highway. Aggressive during auto cross. I normally use either MAP 1 or MAP 2 during auto cross events. I notice that my RPM's never drop below 3K...

...ago. Looked up a couple YouTube tutorials, plugged in my laptop and boom. Updated the tune when my bolt ons were installed. Hondata had a few basemaps which were similar to my setup. Would love more power but I’m happy with it as a daily. Still average 33+ mpg and get 45+ highway consistently.

...in 6th gear is 65 MPH to 95 in a blink of the eye. If you don’t use the new torque and power fuel economy has gone from previous record of 44 MPG to new record of 58 MPG. That’s on the identical 120 mile round trip (albeit in different seasons). Run today was 237 miles, mixed interstate with...

...the time my Oil Life is up). Tune experience notes: The car really wakes up and is quick, It sounds really good and seems to get really good MPG (average 25-30MPG) with the dual starter 21 psi tune and aggressive settings, I have been told my car really scoots down the road and doesn't sound...

Update: Installed SiriMoto 22mm rear sway bar, set on hard. Easy install, 6 bolt removal, 8 going on. Totally changed car. It wants to turn. Best way to describe it is corners’ feel 10-15 mph slower. With cruise set on 70, corners that used to feel “on the edge” meaning borderline kick the...

...especially midrange power. I usually turn the tune off via the Econ button in wet or snowy conditions. I've seen no difference really in overall mpg between the two modes, I routinely knock on 40mpg on long highway drives in the flat Midwest. Well worth the few hundred bucks it cost. 2024-...

My tuners notes on revision #6, which I’m excited to load and datalog tomorrow! What I like about custom tuning, everything is dialed in for your vehicle and operating environment. Off the shelve tunes aren’t this level of refinement. Rev6: Calibration looks great, WOT AFR's spot on with S.trim...

WOT @ 65MPH in 6th gear is a really bad idea. Not only are you destroying the clutch, but you're pretty much lugging the engine & could cause major issues. 5th & 6th are overdrive gears & should be used as such. If you're going to WOT @ 65MPH learn to rev-match/ block shift, so you can drop down...
